I changed the music a while ago! Now, almost everywhere, I listen to punk rock! The game has become even more interesting!

Adding music to games like Heroes doesn't really work; the music I listen to wouldn't fit well. Besides, the game's original music is already excellent.

And mine are:
In the Stronghold.
Manowar.
In the Castle - Enigma.
In the Necropolis - NightWish.
In the Conflux - RioFunk. (a music genre - another name for Brazilian rap.)
In the Inferno - DarkAmbient. (also a genre)
In the Rampart - New Age (genre)
I haven't changed them since.

Why is Brazilian rap called Funk? I would have just put all the castles under one genre, but with different artists.

RioFunk - I don't know why it's called "brotherly rap," but I'll say that it's very difficult to find anything from Funk.)))
By the way, it's a whole subculture for them, like we have emo, rappers, punks, etc.

I changed it, but I'm happy with the default music. I especially like the music at the beginning of the battle and during the battle itself.

New music often gets boring quickly, while the standard music is designed in a way that it can't possibly be unappealing.

I didn't change anything; I just turn on the WMP 11 player, set the rating to 5 stars, and then turn off the music in the game.

I replaced the battle music with NTL, and I still like it.

Music, of course, greatly influences the gameplay. I tried changing it, experimenting, but I quickly got tired of it. In the end, the original music is much more suitable; it's very beautiful, and I don't like changing things that were there from the beginning. To be honest, I generally prefer listening to soundtracks. It was through games and movies that I started listening to music. Sometimes, I even get the urge to put on music from the Heroes series.
I really like the music from the Swamp, Castle, Necropolis, Rampart (also very much), Stronghold, and the battle themes (especially battle theme #4). But there are also some annoying ones. When playing over a modem and having to wait for an opponent for 1-3 minutes, you listen to the most annoying music that plays while the opponent is taking their turn. Not only do I not like it, but it also plays for a long time, and you end up listening to it several times. In the end, the only thing left to do is turn off the music or replace it with something else.

I agree, the background music in Heroes is relaxing; it might not be amazing, but it doesn't get boring quickly. In my opinion, the coolest themes are the Castle theme (when it plays, the middle part is very beautiful) in the third game, and the Necropolis theme in the second game – it also has a beautiful transition in the middle. But the regular songs get tiresome sooner.
