I didn't guess correctly about almost anyone based on their food choices, but at least I redeemed myself a little with the drinks. To be fair, I doubted the correctness of Koshi and Revan's food choices the least, and I felt like there was a catch with the others. And yes, I absolutely love good shawarma, including the kind I make myself (except for the lavash, I just can't bake it), as long as it doesn't have too much tahini. I also love shashlik, kebab, and lasagna. But since I eat shawarma more often, that's what I chose. As for the beer, I just wanted to make it easier for everyone to choose, although I don't drink it very often anymore because I'm not supposed to. In fact, in recent months, my favorite drinks have been red tea, GABA tea, and pu-erh (especially Gunting), but I decided not to obsess over Chinese tea, since I hadn't mentioned it anywhere. Also, Georgian wine is now in my top list (although you need to know where and what to buy, even in Georgia, not every bottle is good), but I still love beer more.

If I hadn't googled the images, I would have misunderstood about 1/4 of them.

I also googled towards the end, including mojito and gin and tonic. Both of these drinks appeared, right after each other.
And I wouldn't have guessed kefir just by looking at it, although I suspected it was from that category, and not milk.

As for the teas, I remembered posts about herbal teas, which several people wrote about, and that's where the doubts/mistakes came from.

Am I a hipster?

I was sorting out milk and kefir as the last of the drinks, choosing between Sylvan and Stronghold. I also thought that maybe kefir would be more useful for Stronghold.

It's not that I dislike nuggets (I sometimes make them at home), but it's not the kind of food I would call my "favorite dish."

Yeah, that's why this picture was the most difficult for me, because I didn't understand how they could be chosen as a favorite, and I just randomly scattered them together with the other remaining ones. If I had known there were shrimp, it would have been easier in that regard.

I like almost all soups, except maybe cold ones. I even asked Ara before the trip to Kazan about the local soups. I chose solyanka simply because it always turns out great. Perhaps it would have been easier to guess if I had sent a Finnish soup (it's really great). But I've never made it, so it's not on my culinary list, and I didn't think of it.

I understood that he was a sick jerk after reading his first message after the pictures, hehe.

I don't dislike soups in general, but specifically, dishes like solyanka, various types of shchi, okroshka, and similar ones, in my opinion, are not very appealing. And in general, I mostly eat soups now only if my husband makes them for lunch while I'm working. But that's more because there aren't many other options available.

Love for soups, like wisdom, comes with age... or it doesn't

Thank you to everyone who sent in videos that are less than 3 minutes long; you're all great. Not in the sense that you sent in bad videos, but in the sense that I also sent in a short one, and it's just that sometimes it's hard to spend an hour watching/listening to 10 five-minute pieces.
At first, I thought about giving the animated short film one point less, as if to be objective, but then I thought about what I would do with the saved points, save them for winter? And the video is my clear favorite, so I can boost it.
Revan, I won't be sending anything for the next two contests, so don't expect anything from me.

Spider-Man 3 Dance Scene with "Realistic" Audio - (No Music) — 6, it's quite meme-worthy. It's probably what Arandor's walks through the streets of Kazan look like (I added a point just because of that association).

Under This Luminous Sky | Animated Short Film 2022 — 9, nice visuals, a sweet story. After watching everything else, I added 1 point because, in my opinion, it's the best video in this contest.

Titanic with a Cat — 6, also quite meme-worthy. Although I would watch a full version of that Titanic.

Ycare - Sors (Clip officiel) — 4, the guy is walking, then running, other people are also running. So what? If they were running away from problems, I would add a point. But I googled the translation, and he's singing about dancing. The song itself is mediocre.

Dance & Adventure in NYC / Rufus Du Sol – Underwater — 3, too elitist for me, I didn't get it.

My Ordinary Life-The Living Tombstone — 4, the visuals are cute, but I didn't get it.

風真いろは作ってみた — 5, cute, I added a point for the adorable joke about the camera at the end.

Little Dark Age - American Cinema — 4, the films, the scenes shown are from mostly good films, but as a video clip, it's nothing special, I didn't get it.

I haven't gotten any younger - I don't like this author's style of drawing; we already have a crappy reality, but in her drawings, it looks even crappier. I understand that this is the intention, but I don't think that exacerbating the bleak reality is a good idea - 4.

I, on the other hand, find these degenerate faces and the backgrounds that are often too realistic hilarious. I can't say that all of her works are masterpieces 10/10, but there are some that I really enjoy.
