Heroes III is a classic of the series. Subsequent installments, while visually appealing, are not as engaging.

So, I’ll be expressing my disagreement here! First, what kind of poll is this that doesn’t include parts 1 and 2?! Second, I’m already annoyed by the shouts: “Part 5 is terrible!” Does anyone want to argue with me about that? I’d be happy to. What makes the other parts so uninteresting compared to part 3? All the Heroes games have always had a great storyline. And the classics are more like the second game than the third, and the third is just the most popular. And the opinion that only the third game is good, in my opinion, is simply conservative. You can downvote my reputation; I’ll stick to my opinion.

Unfortunately, I haven't played the first and second games, but I like the third Heroes game the most. Personally, I don't quite like the controls in the fourth and fifth games, and I find these parts a bit uninteresting.

I'll be brief... all parts are great!

I started with Heroes of Might and Magic III :smile20:, continued with Heroes of Might and Magic V :smile20:, and bought Heroes of Might and Magic IV :smile18:.
If your computer is weak, choose Heroes of Might and Magic III; if it's powerful, choose Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Why isn't there an option for the first game? Or the second? I want to vote for the first one;) But overall, the third game is the best, the fifth is better than the fourth, but it doesn't have the same feel as the third. IMHO, the third is the best of the best:smile49: :smile54:

Well, when I voted, I didn't even have a proper version))) I was playing a pirated copy with a terrible translation.
And I like the 5th game mainly because of the new features, skills, and the overall tree, as well as the new possibilities, etc. The graphics, plot, and races are secondary... although some of the creatures are enjoyable.
I like the 3rd and 4th games just as much.

Author, add Heroes of Might and Magic I to the list, and you'll see they'll get more than a 4!

Yes, the 5th part is cool; it's not just a remake but a development of the genre, but the 3rd part already holds the top spot in my heart. Yes, the 4th part is a cool game if you look at it separately from the 3rd and 5th.

I think the first Heroes game is the best, followed by SoD/Wog, then the second game, then the fifth, and the worst is the fourth.
