Hello, Heroes! So, yesterday I completed the second Campaign for the Orcs. Overall, it's easy, but the last mission was quite challenging (those who have played it will understand). The Necropolis Campaign is also not very difficult, and I immediately understood that I had to sacrifice the girl in that moment with the sacrifice. Anyway, today I'll start the third Campaign. No, there's a group of Assassins there, and they tried their best. You can ally with them to have them kill the Succubi that open the gates to Sheogh, but it won't be fruitful if all the blue cities are captured, and I think it's better to get Valeria with her army.
I had a similar issue: they offered to close the gates to Sheogh, I refused, then I killed them, and the ghost didn't give me any reward. Also, I defeated Orlando with a much smaller army; I don't remember exactly which one, but I won with a minimal advantage.

I had the same problem. I replayed the 3rd mission. In the third mission, I leveled up Wolfstan a couple more times, and at the beginning, I gave some of Zehir's artifacts to the dwarf (including the Ring of Sar-Iss). All the artifacts are passed from mission to mission (at least for humans, dwarves, and Zehir). I actively used the "Blood Vengeance" spell (I think that's what it's called) – after a couple of rounds against the succubi, then as needed.

Here's some more information about the last mission. After Wolfstan, Zehir will be given more tasks – upon completion, without warning, his daughter, Kujin, and Ilaya will fight against the reds. So, you need to give upgrades and artifacts to the female population :D
Also, Zehir's daughter (I have terrible memory, I don't remember her name :rolleyes:) had this trick – when using either "Divine Power" or some other mass spell, "Blood Vengeance" would randomly trigger. I couldn't figure out why this happened – in the second mission, I didn't have a save file, and in the 4th mission, I simply didn't have the opportunity. Does anyone know? (It's a useful trick; without it, I would have hardly been able to defeat the demons)

Did the Nival Interactive guys come up with nothing smarter again, except for battles of 5 heroes against 5, with the same opponent? Enlighten me, comrades! IMHO: Most of the missions in Heroes 5 boil down to capturing 1 mega-castle, which has a huge number of armies, although there are some original ones, like a couple of missions for the Necromancer in the add-on.

The dwarves have a very cool thing – "Runes." And so-called "Runic Magic." In addition to the spellbook, magical symbols are drawn above the turn order bar. They can be used by any units in your army. Many of them are extremely useful. For example, if you take the Energy Rune, your units will have a huge attack range, etc.

You can't level her up; you just have to fight – there are no other options.

The Rune of Energy is especially helpful when besieging a castle with several thousand demons behind the walls and only one teleporting unit in the entire army :D

You can try; I played this mission for a long time. Alaric came to me with an army equal to the garrison of the wonder-city. Try to capture it, and you'll see how Alaric appears.

When Alaric appeared, I simply returned with my main hero, and yes, it took a while. In that time, he managed to capture the nearby orc castle, then moved out and headed towards the second one, and then my hero arrived – battle and victory!

Thank you so much! I completed the mission! I took down the mega-castle with Gotai, with minimal losses, and I weakened Alaric first with a hero with magical troops (but it was brutal – he took out 62 of my titans with ease, and I couldn't even kill half of his troops), and then with a hero from the knight's castle, and then my Gotai arrived and tore that red… apart!!! Now I'm eagerly waiting for the evening to play with Zephyr :)))

She demands 10 mercury, 10 ore, and 50 zombies in exchange, and the hero has all of that, but she still won’t give up the secret. Help! Has anyone else encountered this, or can you at least tell me what the secret is? Maybe it’s not worth it:smile17:

Well, the ore needed isn't ordinary; it's special ore from the mine near the castle, and it's guarded by succubi.
Personally, I didn't find out the secret, so I'm also curious to hear about it.

Scrubbs naturally took care of the situation and captured the castle next to the mine. I go into the mine, and it says that I already have that ore, but the witch keeps saying that I need to give her ore, mercury, and 50 zombies. What kind of secret does she have that requires so much?:smile41:
