Note: it seems Candle bears some particular hatred for riders, and his bow is honed specifically to better hit those who ride mounts. Quite strange, but Milord Axel Von Himmel shared this observation in a private conversation as well. I have no reason to distrust a Knight of Deus.

The fight began with Nelia assuming a defensive stance. However, this did not impress Ambrose; instead, he opted for a strategy of attrition. The Knight of Hegemony circled on Mordred around Radost, waiting for her to tire of it all. Then he charged into battle but missed. Nelia, with her axe, struck the horse. In fact, that attack marked the end of her luck; all her subsequent swings went wide.

Ambrose, for his part, made three more attacks, erring only once. That was enough to defeat the Knight of Radost.
