The NPC was created right before the start of the tournament with the sole purpose of crushing riders. It would be fine if he had known abilities that allowed him to do that. But no, he has a cheater bow, not just with increased damage, but also with increased accuracy. Meanwhile, for some reason, we can't dismount on the first turn. Apparently they tie or glue us on for good before the battle. He defeated all riders except Heroist, who won only thanks to the beam. But yes yes, the hate is unjustified, what was I thinking... If I hadn't missed it as usual, I might have dropped out of the tournament.

I wonder why everyone's bow is just a bow, but Axel's is some kind of "half-baked" thing?🤔
Miasma. I noticed you didn't count my free attack from killing the wyvern. The only time my sword actually worked.
Yyy... Well, one extra hit wouldn't have changed much there... At worst, Axel would've chugged a heal potion (instead of missing), and even then only if the crit had landed.
Ничто не возникает из ничего и ничто не пропадает бесследно. Если где-то чего-то убудет, то в другом месте добавится. (Закон сохранения).
Lord Axel Von Himmel wins. But Alaria did manage to pelt the wyvern with knives after all...
Axel helps the woman rise, carefully supporting her just below the waist, so that it's on the edge but formally there's nothing to find fault with.
-- Thank you for the fight, my lady Alaria. It's hard to fight someone who wounds you not only with steel but also with a beautiful appearance. You remind me of my wife... only she is not as tall and strong.
— Our Deus knows how to pick gallant knights: first Lord Vargas, and now you. It's heartening to hear such high praise from one of today's tournament favorites. And I am doubly glad," she gave a friendly smirk, "that my fair face did not make your hand waver — you wield your sword in a way that's a joy to behold.
-- Thank you for the praise. Your skills are good as well," Axel slightly bows his head in respect to his opponent and heads off to prepare for the next fight.

I'm not defending him, but since I'm also on foot, and a melee fighter at that, I don't particularly empathize with horses. However, if the Dumbledores had horses, he could help us in the first half of the brawl at least.
