I had a perfect picture in my head of you flying off, taking shots, healing up — even if you couldn't pierce my armor, you'd have worn me down just fine. and if we closed in, I might have kept missing you, and you might have danced circles around me and taken me out, or even just with your bare hands, since your damage is solid and my armor is flimsy.

I think we've forgotten something. If a pegasus counts as an enemy for the painting, then it should count for the helmet too.

I thought it meant that the base 10 damage to the spirit upon an ally's death turns into 20, not that you'd be dealing 20 from your hand.

I think "ally" here doesn't refer to animals... At least, Chonchonlia's pegasus isn't considered her "ally"... This thing will work in Bughurt if you're planning some "coalitions" there... And yes, that's -20 spirit to all opponents instead of the base 10.

Opponent — Milord Lester Vargas, a Knight of Dawn Steel from Kanamia, servant of Deus Mariarnelia

One of the shortest battles in my experience. The Knight of Dawn Steel vanished into the shadows at the very start, and no matter how hard I tried — I could never manage to spot him. Nor did I have the time for it. Just as quickly as he disappeared, he almost as lightning-fast emerged from behind my back and, without waiting for me to draw my bow, landed two powerful knife strikes. Another bloody success in Lester Vargas's winning streak.

Note: despite everything, I appreciate that Lester spared Zephyr, striking only me. Animals should not suffer!
