So what's the deal? Is Lester thinking about surrendering to Alaria or not?😂
I wouldn't want to surrender to her; I think we'd see eye to eye on a lot of things. I genuinely don't see any other colleagues besides Alaria whose views I'd align with.
Let's just go with the default state. Random attacks from hand, taking her "vision" into account.
Round 2, battle 5. Milord Ambrose Turbon V vs Milord Zedil Mox
The Turbon family ring increases Ambrose's damage: 85->127
Zedil moves 8 down. Ambrose, apparently unable to bear the humiliation from last round, attacks Zedil with a deadly strike. AP (3/5). Zedil takes (crit) 762 damage (-562/200).
Zedil's remains are being collected all over the arena... Milord Ambrose Turbon wins.

I won't use OD. I've already spent too much on the shaggy gigachad. But if my health happens to drop to a point where I could potentially be taken down by crits in one turn, then I'll drink a flask. That said, the chances of that are slim, and I'm more likely to lose from loss of morale than from loss of health.
Lester loses 38 and restores 95 HP (96/190) (4/5). Alaria attacks Lester, miss. Lester loses 38 and restores 95 HP (153/190) (3/5). Alaria attacks Lester. Alaria takes 32 damage to the barrier (22/150). Miss. Alaria loses 10 spirit points (0/150).
Having exhausted all her combat spirit, Alaria ends the battle.
Lord Lester Vargas wins.
This is some kind of f***ing nonsense....🤦♂️ This battle will go down in Emilia's memoirs under the title "A Tale of How to Turn Fatal Bad Luck to Your Advantage"...

I'm not even sure how to roleplay this properly so it comes out well. x)
All that comes to mind is something like "He's trying so adorably. Fine, so be it."
If someone had told me that Zhenodel would ever make even a remotely significant contribution to the victory, and that his first victim would be Alaria, I wouldn't have believed it. Lester buries Axel, that's for sure.
The victories of the royal knights pleased Axel. Though Ambrose handled it quickly and powerfully, it was rather dull. But Lester's fight entertained him much more. When Lady Alaria could not continue the duel and his comrade's victory was declared, Himmel even stood up to applaud Vargas. Also, a smile could be seen on the knight's face — a rather rare occurrence.

Meanwhile, the last participants are signing up for the buhurt — the Knight of Destructive Might (wings weren't included in the art, sorry) and the Knight of Imperturbability.
