Loken's gone missing... Well, let's assume he's not planning to steal Arandor's horse after knocking him out of the saddle, and he did take the flask after all...🤣 Arandor, your turn...
Ничто не возникает из ничего и ничто не пропадает бесследно. Если где-то чего-то убудет, то в другом месте добавится. (Закон сохранения).
If I had known in advance that Yashchur would be the one counting the battles and not me, I wouldn't have made the arrows infinite.
And I warned about kiting! I warned!
I'd say it's never too late to change that (bows already deal damage comparable to regular melee weapons, and the only downside is the occupied slot for another one), but Yashchur with Neira and Nebok would devour me for such suggestions...
I am categorically against it, because my entire build and quest are built around the "infinite" arrows as stated from the start. Otherwise, I would have either traded precise strike for a second weapon, or chosen Komajism and given myself another weapon accordingly. Nerfing and making me look like a fool because of an unexpected tournament where archers are a bit imbalanced — that's not great. Plus, Nebok and Lok are far stronger than me here. Lok would wipe the floor with me even if I used a preemptive strike.

No, Ples. You're wrong. Neira will devour you single-handedly and won't even share with me and Nebok...🤣🤣🤣

If I had known in advance that Plague would be counting the battles instead of me, I wouldn't have made the arrows infinite.
And I warned about kiting! I warned!
I'd say it's never too late to change that (bows already deal damage equal to regular melee weapons, and the only downside is the occupied slot that could hold another weapon), but Plague with Neira and Nebok would devour me for such suggestions...

Otherwise, I would have either traded Precise Strike for a second weapon, or chosen Comaigism and added another gun accordingly. Nebok won't devour anyone, honestly, because he has a melee weapon and an imbalanced build with a little wyvern. He's fine.
I sat down to keep the tournament chronicles and realized that at this rate I won't make it to the text contest alive. Or I'll write some nonsense. Gorgeous, 10 out of 10, I recommend everyone do it this way.
05.03.297 — tournament in honor of the birthday of Deus Mariarnelia
Round 1, Fight 1
Milord Axel Von Himmel V Milady Chonchonlia Quintea
Milord Axel Von Himmel, Knight of the Gloomy Sky from Albus, servant of Deus Mariarnelia, adherent of Melancholy Renavan
Strengths: membership in a special order from Albus, mastery of armor, two types of weapons, armored wyvern
Weaknesses: none identified
Milady Chonchonlia Quintea, Knight of Milk Chocolate from Kabochi, servant of Lord Grimban Odolerus, adherent of the Spirit of Ceres
Strengths: mastery of the bow, special pumpkin skills of Kabochi, pegasus Almond
Weaknesses: lack of armor, insignificant damage against armored opponents
The first successful strike belonged to Lady Chonchonlia, but it dealt no significant damage. The second went wide.
Sir Axel's counterstrike was not long in coming. The damage was so severe that Chonchonlia had no choice but to throw an incendiary pumpkin, retreat, and drink a healing potion.
Destroying the pumpkin cost Axel one landed hit against him. Again something resembling a weak scratch, nothing more. Chonchonlia's next shot missed again.
And so it went throughout the fight: a weak hit on Axel — colossal damage on Chonchonlia — a pumpkin for defense — healing and an attempt to avoid the barrage from the Knight of the Gloomy Sky.
The outcome was predetermined from the very first hit by the Knight of Deus. Axel defeated the Knight of Milk Chocolate without significant harm, leaving the fragile lady no chance.
Notes: both warriors performed admirably, but the conditions were not equal. The Knight of the Gloomy Sky is too strong and has virtually no weaknesses. The only thing left for the Knight of Milk Chocolate was to keep distance from the opponent's wyvern and try to fend off with pumpkins and strikes too feeble for the existing armor. Against unarmored and non-ranged fighters, she will be able to show excellent results.
