Kronverk Theme Orchestral Version — Horn of the Abyss
For the first time, music from HotA in the author's arrangement is performed by a live orchestra.
The Kronverk theme (composer - Vlad "Maigret" Privezentsev) performed by the orchestra of the Karelian State Philharmonic (conductor - Dmitry Koltsov).
The journey from the first notes in a music notebook to the release of this video took over two years. While working on the town's theme, the author had to thoroughly study the musical traditions of various Northern peoples, master several new instruments, and even design and build some himself. On this recording, Maigret performs the flute part.
To create an atmosphere matching our vision of the town, and as a kind of response to the kindred Rampart, on whose screen a sitar plays, he also introduced instruments unusual for a classical orchestra - a jaw harp and even an anvil.
