Hello everyone! For a long time, I played Heroes on a 2012 laptop with Windows 7, and I didn't experience any problems. Recently, I bought a more modern office laptop with an SSD and Windows 10, installed Heroes, and encountered low FPS on the map, freezes, and lags when scrolling the map, regardless of the graphics settings in HD mod. However, in battles at maximum speed, everything works perfectly, and nothing freezes. Heroes doesn't load the CPU or video card, even at 10%. Can you suggest how to fix this? I don't observe similar problems in other applications/games.

Have you tried looking at the compatibility mode settings? Try going through all the versions there and running the game on each one. In general, old games are not designed for Windows 10... P.S. I have a question about the link that no one has answered yet: /topic/15334/
