Tournament Regulations. This tournament is an official ranked tournament.
Tournament dates: 01.09.2020 - 28.02.2021.
The tournament is held in a round-robin format. Each player must play 2 games against every other player.
The tournament format may be changed if a sufficient number of players register. Only a fully completed game against a specific player counts towards the score. Each game must be reflected in a corresponding report and confirmed by the other player. Unfinished games will not be accepted for scoring.
Any player may write a game report. To do this, on the first page of the tournament thread, find the "Write a report" button: select the color, faction, starting hero, main hero, game result, template, game date in month-week-day format.
New players are allowed to join the tournament. If, by the end, a player has played less than 80% of their games: - the player is excluded from the tournament; - their game results are voided; - the player receives a warning; three warnings result in an automatic ban for one tournament.
Map generation is done using IRMG version 1.8.3.

2. Since the game has an autosave feature, it is recommended to save once every 3 days.
3. Throughout the tournament, the same rules apply for choosing color, template, and factions.
COLOR CHOICE: determined by the players independently. In other cases, the color is determined when players contact the judge.
TEMPLATE CHOICE is one of the following options at the players' discretion:
- carried out by striking off according to the 1-1-....-1-1 scheme from the full list for each game;*
- random for each game (the corresponding option is set in IRMG before map generation);
- players are free to choose the template for each game by mutual agreement;
- any combination of the above template selection options for each game.
The striking off is started by the blue player.
List of templates for map generation: crown, летос, м3, mask, labyrinth, rainbow, spider, sun.
FACTION CHOICE is one of the following options at the players' discretion:
- carried out via a standard striking off according to the 1-2-...-2-1 scheme from the full list for each game;
- random for each game (the corresponding option is set in IRMG before map generation);
- or players are free to choose factions for each game by mutual agreement;
- any combination of the above faction selection options for each game.
How the faction striking off is conducted.
Each player has their own list of factions: Haven, Sylvan, Dungeon, Stronghold, Academy, Fortress, Inferno, Necropolis. The striking off is started by the blue player. They strike off 1 faction for themselves or their opponent. Then the red player, during their turn, can: either strike off 2 factions for themselves or their opponent, or strike off 1 faction each for themselves and their opponent. After this, the blue player, during their turn, can: either strike off 2 factions for themselves or their opponent, or strike off 1 faction each for themselves and their opponent. On the final strike, one of the players strikes off 1 faction for themselves or their opponent. So the striking scheme is: 1-2-2-...-2-1, where the number indicated is the number of factions to strike off: for yourself, the opponent, or both simultaneously, but in total (across both players) not exceeding the specified number. As a result of all actions during the striking off, each player should be left with 1 faction each. Those are the factions you will play with.
If players cannot agree on the option for choosing color, template, or faction, they must contact the judge.
4. The use of any bugs, undocumented features, cheat codes, as well as unofficial programs and modifications is prohibited, except for the TE mod itself (and programs that create virtual networks). The use of interface mods that do not change the game mechanics is allowed.
5. In the event of a connection drop or game crash, the last autosave of the game is loaded; players are obliged to exactly repeat all their moves up to the moment of the connection drop or game crash. In the event of a connection drop or crash on the first day of the game, the heroes are randomly reassigned.
6. In case of battles between players, a stalemate situation may arise (when neither player can win). In this situation, the attacking side must retreat or surrender (at their discretion). If the Shackles of War artifact is involved in the battle, then if a stalemate situation occurs, the battle should be ended in AutoCombat mode.
7. Each player has the right to 1 restart with map regeneration no later than the third day (the end of the day is considered pressing the end turn button, regardless of whether the opponent has finished their current turn or not). After the restart, the template and factions are set back to those determined before the restart. A simturns break in week 1 – technical restart (except for cases when both players are ready to continue the game). A simturns break in week 2 or later – the game continues (except for cases when both players are ready to start the game anew).
8. "Red-rush" is prohibited, meaning an attack by the red player on the first day of the week with purchased growth (the red player may attack on the first day but without purchasing growth).
9. Recruiting neutrals is prohibited. As an exception, joining neutrals may be taken to sacrifice in a pit or sell on the market, but not to field in battle. Goblins that join the army after "Betrayal" triggers may be kept in the army.
10. It is forbidden to use the "Astral Gate" adventure spell to jump from any zone into the opponent's starting zone if the portal/garrison connecting them has not been broken through. It is also forbidden to use the "Astral Gate" adventure spell to jump into the opponent's adjacent zone and then, on the same turn, run into the opponent's starting zone.
11. It is forbidden to press wait on Crag Hack's first strike in battles against opponent heroes; against neutrals it is allowed.
12. A win in a game awards 2 points, a draw 1 point, a loss 0 points.
13. The winner of the tournament is the player who scores the highest number of points. When determining a player's position in the tournament table in case of a tie on points, the following criteria come into effect: - Berger coefficient; - result of the direct encounter; - number of wins; - number of draws; - number of losses; - one additional game. The additional game is conducted as follows: Color is determined by the judge via lot, template is random, the faction that the opponent will play is sent to the judges before the start of the additional game.
14. Attention! LOADS ARE PROHIBITED in this tournament!! Exception: both players have reached a mutual agreement on the number of loads. If, despite the agreement on the number of loads, disagreements arise between the players regarding the outcome of the game (win/loss) due to loads, the tournament judge reserves the right to decide the outcome of the game.
