Hello. We are playing offline with the HD mod, and the obelisks have disappeared completely. How can we bring them back? Thank you.

Please clarify: did they disappear from a single-player map where they were originally located? Is there nothing in those locations now? Or are there no obelisks on a randomly generated map?
Please provide the map and save file (if you can't attach it here, upload it to Google Drive, Yandex Disk, or Mail.ru and provide a link). Also, specify your HD mod version. Then we can figure out the cause of the problem.

Most likely, when creating a random map, the "Disable Obelisks" checkbox was selected.

They disappeared from single-player mode and campaigns. I completed the entire "The Restoration of Erathia" campaign, and there wasn't a single obelisk. Also, I noticed that the unique abilities of creatures have changed. For example, Minotaurs used to have the ability to block attacks, and ranged creatures had abilities like dealing 1/2 or full damage in melee combat. HD mod 5.2

Based on your description, I suspect that you don't have the original "The Shadow of Death" or "Complete Collection," but rather WoG (In the Wake Of Gods) or some other mod, on which an HD mod has already been installed, or even WoG+ERA or a rarer mod. To be more precise, you should help us identify your specific version of "Heroes." Perhaps you could provide (in a private message, so as not to openly "encourage piracy") a link to the page from which you downloaded your version of "Heroes"? Or a description from there.
What, for example, is the image that appears when you launch the game? Here's what the main screens of "The Shadow of Death" and "Complete Collection" look like:

I downloaded it from Rutracker, and it really is a "complete collection" plus an HD mod. Could that be the reason? Thank you.

Well, could you please provide a link to the page where you downloaded it from, in a private message? Or at least copy and paste the description from there? Do you really have the same image on the main game screen as I attached to the message above?
Because what you mentioned in your message is definitely not a feature of the original game, even with an HD mod:

Ultimately, if you can't provide enough information, I can suggest the "Complete Collection" repack that I've had for 10 years and that best matches the original, except it doesn't require a disc. You can install the HD mod on it yourself. Just before deleting your version, transfer your saves and (possibly) added maps somewhere if you want to keep them.

The main menu picture doesn't mean anything; I had a PS picture in Era when I installed a mod for all the original campaigns. Most likely, the guy has the same thing.
