Posts from change the number of posts required to change level.

Dear forum members, today there was a change in the creature levels within a faction, depending on the number of posts. This is related to the reason why the coordinators made this change, and why only one coordinator did it, as this was noticed today, and today only Hacker was present from the administration on the forum. I am interested in your opinion on this matter, as well as why this change occurred.

I don't know why they did it this way, but I don't really like it: I just became a Plague Zombie, and now I'm back to being just a regular zombie with 25 hit points.

In other words, they increased the number of posts required to level up a creature in the profile. My opinion on this is rather negative, as there weren't many users above level 10 on the forum anyway.

I had an issue with the levels. The user profile showed that I was level 5, but I was actually level 3. I reported this error to xaker, and he simply fixed it.

After the release of the Tribes of the East, will it be possible to set their Castle as a faction on the forum? Perhaps the level changes are due to the introduction of alternative upgrade portraits?

I also think they raised the level unnecessarily; now, even with level 6 monsters, there's no one around... It's strange, what's the point of that?:confused: P.S. They took my helmet away from me!!!:( Now I have some ugly swordsman:(

We had a user at the very beginning of the forum's development who reached level 14; it was Celt, but after he reached it (previously, level 14 required 2000 posts), level 14 was moved to 10,000 posts.((
P.S. Can any of the coordinators/super moderators add a poll to the topic, as my page glitched: "What is your attitude towards changing the number of posts required to reach the next level?" Options:
1. Positive
2. Negative

What mistake, ZeT? What are you even talking about? The rules changed, and you're still talking about your rank. :mad:
The ranks used to be distributed differently, but now the rules have been changed. Just when I reached level 7 (500+ posts), I was dropped back to level 6 because the rules now state that level 7 is reached with 750+ posts.
This whole mess is getting a bit tiresome: of course, ranks are just a trivial thing and a game, but if you consider it insignificant, then let's just get rid of the ranking system altogether! If it was introduced for the interest and entertainment of users, then why this constant "devaluation" of the ranks?:mad:

It's not a mistake; it's just that initially, before the reform that changed the creatures, which happened last year, sometime in the summer, they reduced the level system, but forgot to replace the old information about the levels. And then they reduced it by another level.

Are factions necessary?
No, because it is a meaningless division of users into completely equal groups.
Are ranks necessary? No. Because they encourage flooding.
