A question about slaves came up in the chat, so I'll address it here as well: in Lisliar, they are enchanted in such a way that if they go against their master, they will simply die in pain, but this does not affect their character or personality in any way. And in Serberia (the second country where slaves exist, but which cannot be obtained through gameplay), it is closer to serfdom, and no magic is involved there.

The Pantheon is for those who believe in the gods of the Hikkan, while the Dynasty is for the elite who are certain that they are descended from these gods.

Siver answered correctly in general, but there are some cultural nuances. Roughly speaking, characters with pantheistic beliefs simply worship these gods like any other pagan, while those with dynastic beliefs specifically trace their family tree, honor their ancestors, etc., and even the latter don't necessarily have to believe in their divine origin – that's already an individual matter for each character.
Basically, someone is building up their elite forces, and everyone else is working for them. For example, capturing slaves in the wild lands, bringing him wine from other countries, searching for valuable items, and so on.
