Kokuhaku/Confessions

Sky, you can watch.

But I won't be able to watch it in the original language; wouldn't that be a bit embarrassing?

What’s stopping you from doing that?

But I won't understand anything if I watch it in the original. And if I don't watch it in the original, I'll look ridiculous. Isn't that right?

Watch with subtitles.

It's so relaxing: you "travel" with a vegetable-like girl through Japan, meet different people, enjoy the changing seasons, and so on.

I hate ongoing series.

One-Punch Man, Season 2

+ This is still the same crazy series that we know and love. It's funny, satirical, absurd, but not mindless. Saitama is awesome.
- There's very little Saitama and Genos, especially the former. I'm absolutely not interested in the DRAMA of the guy who decided to start crushing heroes and went all out; I'm interested in how the Bald Cape suffers from the fact that he has no one to fight again. And there were hooks for his development, but no, we're more interested in action, snot, and gloom.
= 6/10, watchable, but the first season is better. Saitama is still great, and it's worth watching for him. It's a pity I didn't buy his skin in the time-limited event in SW, Genos didn't help me love portalcraft, but I still don't regret it.

Attack on Titan, second half of the third season

+ Interesting plot with plot twists, atmosphere, action, drama, passion, and other delights - everything is in place, everything is as we like it. The opening is better than in the first half. Also, I want to note the graphics of the series in general; they combine 2D and 3D well.
- I don't know how the Titans manage to be drawn out despite the plot and action, but they do! It seems like there's nothing лишнего, but it's boring and depressing to watch in places. And yes, the opening, although better, seemed very lazy - it's a wannabe of the first season with a similar song and a selection of frames from the series. Weak. And again, the characters still don't touch me much.
= 8/10, it's still the same Attack on Titan with all the same advantages and disadvantages. I love this series, but the drawbacks are too significant to give it a ten. Also, almost all the details of the Titan intrigue have been revealed, and there's not much left to surprise us unless they come up with something new. I'm not even interested anymore; I predict that it will all degenerate into a simple brawl or some kind of cunning plan, which is essentially the same brawl, only disguised.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

It feels a bit weak. Yes, the ending is supposed to be impactful, but overall the film is not very engaging. Or maybe I subconsciously imagined the Jews as life-long players. Anyway, Schindler's List is much better.

Or maybe I was just subconsciously picturing the Jews as life-loving individuals.

This is a very accurate statement, but not quite fully formulated. Oppressed masses are still masses, and what do masses consist of? That's right – of despicable life-loving individuals (I prefer to call them "normies" because I could also be considered one of them). It is believed that films about fascists should evoke pity for the Jews and others, and it works, but for whom? – for normie-haters who subconsciously associate themselves with the suffering characters on the screen. We, not recognizing them as our own, should not feel any sympathy.
I recently watched "Come and See." I heard a lot about it – that it's incredibly horrifying, disgusting to watch, how vile the fascists are, how terrible the war is. I watched it and... I don't care at all. Just one group of scum exterminating and burning other scum alive – which of these subhumans should I sympathize with? None of them. It's just a mess in the mud. Of all the characters in the film, I saw humanity in only two – the partisan commander and the blond German officer. I will admit one thing – it was disgusting. The scene with the partisan whore in the forest is ultra-creepy, and the main character is creepy, and everyone there is creepy. Their appearance, the sounds they make, their manner of movement, their facial expressions – they are extremely repulsive, and it is impossible to classify them as belonging to the species *Homo sapiens*. It's not the scenes of their extermination that are horrifying, but the scenes of their survival. Remember, I wrote about the "third devil"? This is how it manifests itself.
For the sake of politeness, the final score is 2/10. I added a point for originality. If anyone understood the film better, please explain.

I can empathize with characters from anime, games, and novels, but not with characters from movies... What could this indicate?

A. You're watching the wrong movies. B. You are close to achieving perfect being and embodying yourself in a twenty-dimensional reality.

No, it's just that anime characters possess many positive qualities and don't represent the kind of trash that is often shown in movies. Plus, the characters are perceived solely as independent entities, whereas movie characters are just actors running around and making faces.

I recently watched "Come and See."

I was planning to watch it at some point, but I never got around to it.

B. Close to achieving perfect being and embodying it in the twenty-reality.

Lol.

Or maybe I was just subconsciously imagining Lifeforms in the place of the Jews.

I watched it and... I don't care at all. Just one group of bastards exterminating and burning other bastards alive – which of these subhumans should I sympathize with?

but not with the characters in the films... What could that say.

such garbage, which is what those often shown in films are.

Nice, nice, we would make excellent war criminals, dictators, and mass murderers. Oh, such potential, such potential...

Although I would probably go completely insane from such stuff.

You seem to forget, Sky, that "war criminals" are mostly the same types of people – the "normies" or "lifers" – that you are talking about.

Or maybe they're just pretending? How do you know? I could pretend too, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from a seasoned player.
