I've created a server based on the Hamachi program; this will make it easier to find companions for playing Heroes 3 and will be more convenient to use than a direct connection via IP. Only 2 things are required: 1) Heroes Platinum version 4.0 or version 3.2 2) The Hamachi program installed Server name: ZIMET, password: 55555 So, feel free to join. In the future, we may plan Events or other interesting projects, and tournament gatherings or clan matches are also possible. Have a pleasant game, and may the azure dragons be on your side.

Play online via Hamachi

Eugene, I'm not just talking about a single game, but about players constantly being on this Hamachi server. This will make it easier for them to see who is online, connect with other people, and arrange games. Perhaps a database of Quick/ICQ contacts could be created, listing who plays what, on which days, and at what times, or other priorities, which would make finding a game more convenient.

Your community will be limited to a maximum of 24 players, as this is the limit in Hamachi on one network. I don't understand why this community is needed when there is a special topic on the forum with a huge list of players; remember their ICQ numbers, and you will always know who is online, or join a network with a couple of active players, and you will have a community in the network where someone is almost always available to play with. But you have created not a community, but simply a network in Hamachi.

Hamachi allows you to create multiple channels, which can significantly increase the number of users.

Zimet and everyone else! Guys, you're putting in unnecessary effort. Everything you're trying to do already exists. Hamachi servers are overflowing with participants, tournaments are in full swing, and the numbers for async and quickplay matches are displayed under avatars. Just join in!!!

I don't know about others, but in my opinion, ZIMET is doing everything right. There are many networks, but it's not always possible to find someone to play with across all of them. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

Hamachi is just a LAN emulator; with the same logic (I've mentioned this idea before), we could create a community like this:
a Heroes community using Windows XP sp2
Hamachi is just a tool, just like Windows. Don't complicate things – I have 120 contacts on ICQ, and I can play almost anytime I want, and I've only been online for about six months.... maybe a little more.

I think that if you want to play with someone online, there's a special section on the forum for that. Why bother racking your brains and creating servers and all that other stuff? You have ICQ – just arrange a game and play.

1) The last activity of the topic creator was on 10/14/2007. 2) When attempting to log into the ZIMET network, an error message appears stating that the network is overloaded, which means that creating multiple channels is out of the question. Topic closed.
