Hello! I haven't been able to find an answer online. I have SoD and the HD mod installed. Everything works great when generating random maps on different templates, but I'm annoyed by the presence of the map editor. Is there some kind of magic code that allows you to exclude it when generating a map?

You can disable the creation of any mapmakers during random map generation as follows:

0x539988 -> JMP 0x539A55 = "E9 C8000000 90 90"

So, I just created another map, and the cartographer appeared(( Although I set "none" everywhere in the plugin.

You can simply enable the HW-rules checkbox and avoid the hassle.

"None" is a reserved value; to ban objects, you need to set the frequency to 0.

That is, the line
Cartographer_land 10000 20 none none

should be replaced with
Cartographer_land 10000 0 none none

In general, they still appear((. It seems the plugin is not compatible with the latest versions of the HD mod. I tried it on the Clash of Dragons and 8MM6 templates.

If it's not too much trouble, could someone try it on their end? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong. But I set the values as indicated, and they still appear.

I just received a reply on a neighboring forum that it doesn't work like that... You need to run the entire mod and also have an older version of HD. Can anyone tell me where I need to enter the code provided above?

Thank you very much! I'm not very knowledgeable about these things myself, but it seems like a useful feature when playing with friends. Otherwise, someone always opens everything, and it becomes less interesting to play.
