It was a tough game; I managed to get a good lead with 117 gold, but I almost lost because I forgot to recast Oil. I had to use Papal Sacrifice on Golems to get Monarchs with the help of the Crown of the Lich. Then I cleared the center and jumped to the opponent's spawn point at the end of the week – the game ended in a draw. Thanks for the game!
The deadline for all 4 pairs of players, including you and Outlaw, ends on May 5th.
Then we clearly have a problem, because I played the previous game with Stinger on March 28th and am waiting for an opponent for the next round, who didn't bother to contact me when he appeared as my opponent in the table. As a result, when I checked the bracket, I saw my opponent, wrote to him, and this was on April 28th. We agreed on a game on April 30th. The opponent entered the lobby and wrote that it was already too late for him and said that he would be available all day tomorrow, but in the end, he remains silent.
Please remove me from the tournament. Due to personal reasons. I apologize in advance to my opponent and the organizers for not being able to participate in the match. Good luck.
This was certainly a unique surrender.
The map wasn't bad in terms of objectives, and it seemed like I could withstand the Titan onslaught, but Alamar, who I had pinned all my hopes on, didn't think so, and ruined everything with his terrible skill build. He started with fire, then water, and when he finally got to magic on the 5th level, it became clear that there was no quick way out. In fact, it was more likely that my opponent would come to visit me than I would be able to launch any kind of attack. The demoralization from everything that was happening started to take its toll, with chains not forming properly and the timer for trying to come up with something disappearing, not even paying for the actions spent.
It's worth noting that even having the entire fifth level in Pandora didn't really help: without intelligence and stats, it's scary to even think about going into Utopia, let alone attacking. The spell points were so low that I couldn't summon anything worthwhile.
At home, in Utopia 2, which I had to take with all the meat I had, including cyclops, I unfortunately got magic that was already there and zero stats. If I had at least some spell points, maybe I wouldn't have had to pay off in the first encounter, where I was caught with practically no mana.
Later, I managed to level up the mage, but my opponent, with his powerful resistance and shackles, caught me, and there was no chance.
Thanks for the game!
0-1
In this match, everything worked out very well, including a decent push with the Sultan units, thanks to acquiring the Necklace, having the initiative, and being able to sacrifice Bone Dragons for consumption. I emerged, of course, not without losses, but around fifty Bone Dragons were likely a necessary sacrifice.
A couple of turns later, I started to get very nervous, which made me slow down and not keep up with the timer. I was doing everything very haphazardly, forgetting/not having time to buff the support units and give them a boost (you know what I mean =)). Despite the fact that the Goshan was well-equipped, the psychological tension remained until the very end, constantly preventing me from acting effectively.
Thank you for the game!
1-1
And it all turned out very meme-worthy. Let's go through everything in order.
It was a kind of neither-here-nor-there start, with taking a minimal Griffin Conservatory, poor spreading out, and an apparent empty respawn.
A couple of days later, Diemer showed up, but I didn't invest in him, fortunately remembering the recent behavior of a certain Warlock=) Although there were prerequisites for using him, artifacts for spell power and level-up boosts were sitting on the respawn. Luckily, Shakti got Earth magic, and the earthly questions of existence were resolved.
Suddenly, already spotting 4 Dragon Fly Hives and starting to rejoice, misfortune struck me: at ГО, fabulous dragons were smiling at me, sparkling with their bright colors (so cute, such adorableness). Ironically, in all three games with Miron, I was haunted by terrible main guards (Titans, Efreet Sultans, and now, Faerie Dragons).
Well, as they say, trouble never comes alone, and all the Dragon Fly Hives except one turned out to be minimal. Additionally, Vampires chomped a couple of my Swarmlings during the battle for the prison (essentially for the passage to the Dragon Fly Hive and stables).
In the end, I could have been quite sad if not for a number of saving circumstances: a strategically taken Pathfinding (which paid off 100% this time) and a Pandora's Box with 25 Evil Eyes. The army didn't stop being ridiculous because of that, I must say: an Angel, 16 Swarmlings, and over 30 Evil Eyes.
So, thanks to Pathfinding and the shooters, I managed to get out through the wasteland past the horses: with basic magic, I had everything I needed, and the 100 mana scryed the previous week was enough.
Essentially, having made it to the desert with nothing and seeing the opponent's stats, who had been glowing for a day already, I was ready for a loss. But we had the same number of towns, and that gave me hope. Taking another Corpse on all Fire magic without Wisdom at the first town, I didn't lose hope for learning magic, fortunately having Alamar, and I finally picked it (Wisdom) after breaking through ГО. I felt an indescribable sensation of warm rage the next day, opening a Corpse on all Earth magic for the sharpshooters with basic Wisdom.
Although I didn't exit that late, the road to the central town was long for both of us (my path was further complicated by a shortcut through the sand).
I trudged to the town already on day 124, and having a small reserve of mana left, I built a Tavern. I discovered, unsurprisingly, the opponent, who, fortunately for me, had just as pathetic an army as I did, only he was also out of mana. The opponent didn't attack on his turn, but he also didn't leave the center, which forced me to stay in the castle so he couldn't replenish mana outside his native walls. From being pinned down, I essentially lost a turn, also fumbling with sending the Lich (Ciele made my Lich on an Angel pay to get by). On his turn, the opp finally broke back to his own home, giving me just enough time to break through КЗ. After that, having wasted another turn on looting the Hat of +10 (for which I fought the Nix without Oil, because when passing Recanters, one ended up in a slot, and even noticing this mistake, I blundered and didn't swap artifacts; thankfully, I had the sense to equip the boost and КЗ, so I got off with light damage), I sat in the dungeon to replenish mana.
Fortunately, the opp didn't capture the central castle, and, having STP'd, took a +5 Attack sword lying behind the Titans along the way, and attacked the Gunslinger.
As it turned out, Miron had an even worse situation with ГО: Efreet Sultans, which, by the way, were masterfully cleared by day 121. Partially, the game was decided by the mana difference, thanks to the lack of which I avoided the encounter on day 124.
So, the deadline has passed, and =Lizard= - papashkais4atika didn't play.
The CIS tournament is not an excuse, as there were 4 weeks, and you could have managed to play at least one game (or warned why you couldn't).
The final deadline is this Wednesday (May 8th); you will play a best-of-one match.
On Wednesday, I will update the bracket.

I wrote to Papashkaischatika many times over several weeks before the CIS tournament, including on weekends right before his flight to Tbilisi. At first, he repeatedly said that he wasn't mentally ready to play with me and something along those lines; he didn't respond to the last message at all (and still hasn't). I can show the correspondence. In principle, I'm not against playing tonight, but overall, I believe that we didn't play solely due to the opponent's fault.
After the rest period, a very tough game unfolded, which couldn't be countered even with my extremely weak strategy (I haven't played Blitz HotA in a long time, the timer was a killer). In the final, both players had a critical mass of creatures, but I had 57 ducks and much more mana. Thanks for the game!
