I planned to write about this in a dedicated thread, but HTML code doesn't work in that section, so I'll write it here. For a long time, I had problems watching anime, and even with game Walkthroughs: lack of attention span, mood swings, physical ailments, and other things stood in my way before massive content consumption. This autumn, I decided to try something slightly different and started watching ongoing titles as new episodes were released, which is something I previously disliked doing, preferring to binge-watch everything "in one go." Either the season turned out to be very good, or this is actually a decent method. In my short review of what I've watched, I will describe my impressions and choose a favorite; it won't necessarily be the character I liked most, but simply the one who evoked a special sympathy in me. Also, keep in mind that since some titles are still ongoing, everything written below is based only on what has already been released.
I took a liking to this title from the very first episode — unusual and interesting, yet very cheerful; it made me smile like an idiot, which is a great rarity in itself. What does it have? An intriguing, cool, and charismatic MC, a fascinating setting and plot, dozens of interesting characters, cute slice-of-life moments of the main hero and his surroundings, funny and emotional moments, beautiful girls... There was much that I like and nothing that I don't. If the pace and quality of the remaining episodes stay at the same level as before, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken will definitely take a place in my list of favorite titles, and the main hero will become one of my favorite characters.
As for the favorite, that's tough! I don't want to choose ГГ for this list because he is just too good and has a huge presence, but as for the others... I liked all or almost all of them, and even the funny goblins cannot fail to please me, so I'll settle on the purple-haired oni: stylish and strong; I wish she would pick me up like a princess and protect me from everything bad while I shyly cover my face with my palms, cheeks blushing.[/COLOR]

Goblin Slayer
[/B]Another title featuring goblins, only slightly different from the previous one. The first associations that came to mind while watching were expeditions and D&D, but given the ruthlessness of this setting, it's probably closer to the former. The lack of names for characters seemed a bit strange to me, but in the end, I can't call it a minus. As it turned out, they aren't needed for character relationships or the narrative. And the plot itself, despite the bloodiness and cruelty, seemed very "cozy" to me. But that's probably not surprising, since essentially this is a series about everyday life; it's just that in this specific case, the main hero's profession happened to be killing goblins. For downsides, I can note the use of CGI (although the battles themselves are cool and rely more on tactics than "abilities," which is how I like it) and not quite successful pacing.
Favorite: the witch. A difficult choice between her and the receptionist (very cute), but my heart responds more strongly to the witch: mysterious, enigmatic, and very hot; she gives the impression of a character I could play in an RPG or forum roleplay.[/COLOR]

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet
At first, I wasn't impressed and even thought about dropping it after the fourth episode, but I returned to watching it a few weeks later and suddenly everything became not so bad. I don't know what changed: either the content got better or my perception shifted. Overall, the title isn't very strong, but it's cute and funny, and all the girls in it are good... It's just a pity that there probably won't be a second season.
Favorite: Char. Hasuka and Juliet are also very good, but it was specifically the princess who lifted this title from the bottom where I accidentally dropped it.[/COLOR]

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai
One of the strongest series of this season, if you believe MAL users, and one can understand why: it is very serious and soulful, yet not devoid of comedy and lightheartedness. All this is supported by good development of the main characters and their relationships. And herein lies my main problem with this series: this element, its main virtue, fades into the background against the events of each individual arc, which in turn become repetitive over time due to recurring plot patterns.
Favorite: Mai. I'd like to be contrary and choose someone else, but I can't help admitting that her character is written very "maturely," which in other cases could be a minus (as I am not a proponent of strict realism in works), but not here. [/COLOR]

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze
[/CENTER]I've never felt a strong emotional attachment to this franchise, nor any special sympathy for its characters, plot, or setting, but I was always curious to watch it. This season turned out to be the same: it's interesting to return to every week despite some indifference to what's happening. If this says anything, it's about the quality delivery of entertainment content, if even someone like me, who isn't a fan of such things, found it appealing.[/COLOR]

Sword Art Online: Alicization
[/CENTER]Indeed, Sword Art Online has come a very long way since its first appearance on screens and this is perhaps the best thing that happened to it. The first episode seemed quite solid, and although after it (when the "real world" plot appeared) the bar dropped noticeably, the series is still interesting thanks to an interesting concept.
Favorite: the administrator. She has an interesting story, the kind I love and sometimes write myself. Moreover, she (the story) noticeably adds depth to the setting.[/COLOR]

SSSS.Gridman
[/CENTER]Mecha... Initially, there were no special expectations, but it turned out quite decent, even though I'm not a fan of the genre. If you don't delve into non-obvious details, it might seem like brain-dead action, but that's not entirely true. The plot is in the spirit of the Matrix. The resolution was somewhat disappointing and I cringed a bit at the real scenes in the finale.
Favorite: let's go with Akane, simply because I can relate to her a bit
and because there are great artifacts of her.[/COLOR]

Toaru Majutsu no Index III
Many years ago, Toaru Majutsu no Index and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun were very appealing to me, and for many years news about the potential release of a third season of Index could not fail to please me. At first, they were nothing more than myths, but some time ago it became known that they really intended to make it and finally did. And now, after its release, I can't understand — either my requirements for plot have grown over the years and I've become very picky, or the content is just not great? As can be understood from this question, I didn't like the third season at all. Someone is constantly fighting; who are these people even, how does it work, what is happening at all? Nothing is explained, everything is very haphazard, characters aren't introduced, some kind of battle royale without build-up.
Favorite: as eight years ago, it's Kaori. Perhaps she is too good for this franchise.
