I replayed the initial version with Edward as the hero and completed it in 166 days (I received a Thunderer). Perhaps I was wrong about him earlier: at first, he is weak, but closer to the end, he is quite effective. I developed Light up to Twilight, Darkness up to Fallen, Luck, Logistics with Wit and Navigation, and Defense up to BDP (later I replaced Defense with Sorcery). I should note that this time, Vito had much more difficulty completing his task (he didn't get tents for a long time, hence the losses, plus there seemed to be more blockades). Therefore, the increased strength of the neutral creatures on Vito's side in the second version seems excessive to me. Now, I would leave everything as it is, as the absence of a portal in the city, as well as the mentor and library on the left side, adds extra intrigue (in particular, I had to return and save my home base, which was fortunate because I had Navigation and a Sextant). I would also like to note the very aggressive actions of the enemy and the difficult battles. In general, it's a great map; it's been a while since I've played one like this. Best regards to everyone.
Thank you for the Walkthrough of my map. But I have one question:
Fortunately, Andreas, the Engineer, appeared on the second try.

I also completed the initial version. I finished the war in 160 days (sign of the Summons Witch).
I first tried with a hero, but Vittorio didn't get a tent, and his army was badly damaged. Those insignificant acquisitions did not compensate for the losses. Therefore, I replayed it with a warrior. There were no particular difficulties.
I didn't like the long exploration of the Dungeon. Maybe you could add a Cartographer or a Lookout. I even wanted to quit.
But overall, I liked the map. Many interesting ideas. Good luck!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. The portal to the city in the first version was located on one of the islands. It is guarded by mages and water elementals.
How did Andreas get there? I don't know, I just have a mod for additional heroes, that's all. By the way, he also appeared in the tavern when I replayed. Yes, I forgot to mention another plus of the map: I really liked the idea of instantly transferring troops to Edward. And regarding his specialty, wouldn't it be more useful to give him a speed boost (like Myth) or an engineer with developed machines and a tent ("Viti's older brother")?

Update:
v1.1 (08/21/2018)
-Gnomes are prohibited from accessing certain artifacts.
-An artifact shop has been added near the mentor.
-A sphinx has been added to one of the islands.
-A bug with the final video has been fixed.
I played through the first version of the map, 0.9, and I liked everything as it is. There's a problem with the final cutscene playing after defeating Tolgar; I replayed the map twice, and it didn't show up. After the victory, I immediately received a message saying I won, and that was it. Could you provide a video of the final cutscene?
Thank you for your feedback.
If the console is active, type: StartDialogScene(path.."S5/DialogScene.xdb#xpointer(/DialogScene)"). This is the final cutscene.
Alternatively, use cheats to defeat Hangwul and capture the city.
Decided to replay the map from version 1.0. I decided to explore the sea more and noticed something unpleasant: on one island, there are archmages with water elementals, guarding nothing. I hope this has been fixed in the new version. Otherwise, the playthrough is not much different from the first one, except that I took "Elemental Equilibrium" against Hangvulich, which helped a lot.
Thank you for the feedback. I know that there was a flaw there in that version; now there is a sphinx.
Good afternoon.
I downloaded the map because I really liked the first one; it's a great battle between humans and dwarves. And I encountered a problem: I'm reading reviews, and everyone seems to be completing it without much difficulty. What's the secret? I started on Veteran difficulty, Vittorio emerged from the dungeon, and a chaotic battle began on the surface. I have very few troops (there were no losses in the dungeon), and while the dwarves didn't have titans yet, it was manageable; the crazy griffins landed randomly, but far enough from the enemies, and the ballista fire was effective. But when the titans appeared, the question became: how do I kill them? If I don't manage to capture the tent, does that mean I have to restart?
As an alternative, you can use regeneration.
As an alternative, you can use regeneration.
This is certainly an option, but was it somewhere along the path? I didn't encounter it.
