If I pick a mid-range Shadow, I lose to Runes. If I pick a mid-range Sword, I lose to Vengeance-Blood. If I pick a ramp Dragon, I lose to Sylvan. If I pick Sylvan, I lose to mid-range Shadow. It doesn't look like a cycle, but it seems to be a closed loop.

I should really build a Lindworm deck. Although, I couldn't resist and spent some dust on a second Barmic while upgrading my main deck, but whatever.
I should also build a second Loki; I'm cheating with Gamelon when I can, but it's still not the best use for him. And a third Silva, two just isn't enough.
And I need to expand the pool of light creatures for my sword deck; it's not fashionable to run only one Zeta anymore, and many builds have the screaming guy 2.0...
It's good that Blood is weak right now, so I don't have to spend resources on their Furson, and I already got Vira.
But overall, I think the optimal investment would be a second Moonstone and/or a full set of legendary fighter cards.

I’ve been playing Lindworm for the last couple of days, and it’s going pretty well. Even though I only have two Phylenes, two Zoes, and one of those funny guys with gems. I should probably upgrade the first two, but I don’t think this guy is that important.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the treasure map in this deck. To be honest, I used to think this card was garbage because of my negative experience in the arena, where it was almost always useless, except for a couple of lucky cases with zombies. But in Lindworm, it fully reveals its potential: whatever amulet you get, it will be useful in most cases. Unless it’s a bed, which might be so-so, and you have to be careful with Rust.

How are your finals going? I didn’t make it in the end. I should have qualified for Group A, then I would have been in Group B and could have easily gotten my emblem, like in the previous unlimited Grand Prix.

I saw a cool build in the Grand Prix: with this screaming guy and the amulet from the classic set, which summons a heavy knight for each commander that comes onto the board. It’s a great synergy.

I should also create a second Loki; I cheat with Gameln when I can, but it’s still not the best use for him. And a third Silva, two is definitely not enough.

I want to build this deck, but I have exactly zero Kokoko and zero Orchids. So, I decided to invest in the dragon for now, since I already have most of the necessary legendaries for it.

An interesting observation, a year after its release.

That awkward feeling when the balance in unlimited is better than in rotation. Even though mid-shadow has gone completely insane again, and the portal shows wild usage and win rate numbers, overall the balance looks much more reasonable than rotational, where blood and shadow are barely holding on at the 40% threshold, and the second player can just concede without a chance regardless of their class.

How can you lift your spirits in the morning? By reading the translated logs of the "Shades of Darkness" expansion in Russian!

I farmed 5k just by doing dailies in the first couple of weeks. Then, for a day or two, I considered whether it was worth committing and grinding in Grand Master in this season/expansion, and I concluded that it wasn't, and I haven't regretted it at all. At the beginning of the expansion, I wanted to play – only on Pugs, because of the novelty (they still didn't give me a decent Shadow), but the broken Might and Haven killed that desire. And when those idiots finally came up with nerfs, it was already too late – I didn't have the motivation, the high-roll meta was also terrible, and in general, Pugs are much more boring than Artifacts. And I also don't want to play Artifacts for three months, which have become weaker again. And the Spinaria didn't drop. I'm waiting for a mini-event to put 80 tickets into it, not get Spinaria, not get anything interesting or meta-relevant, and then quit until the next pack, or maybe forever.
