+10 Defense (cannot exceed the limit)
+10 to Strength

Remind me to transfer it tomorrow.

— Consider yourself already dead, — Hrodgeir said to Relhiras before the battle.

Relhiras uses Demonic Cleave
Parry
Hrodgeir receives 1474+90=1564 damage (-1114/450)

I think I lost.

A limit of 50, you mean?

I think the most optimal options are:
1) 10 in Dexterity (initiative, evasion, maximum critical hit, accuracy)
2) 5 in Dexterity and 5 in Strength (maximum critical hit, greater damage)
3) Wisdom (evasion, accuracy, maximum critical hit, initiative, and experience)
In any case, it will take three hits to defeat Butarg. But I like the third option the most.

Oh, shoot. You can't go over the limit. Then, I guess, everything should go into Wisdom?

I think so.
Oh, just a little bit more and I could have killed him in two hits.

Don't forget to post about challenging Butarg to a duel! (although, one would think Relhiras would have invested in Wisdom) But before that, search the corpse...

What if there's a bomb there?

If the entire city explodes, that would be perfect.

-How? A bomb? A cave-in? Could it be that this son of a bitch wanted to take revenge on the one who defeated him in a fair fight, even after death!? - Delia's anger knew no bounds; he pranced around the table, stomping his feet angrily. -I... I couldn't have foreseen this. - Regret was felt in Relhiras's voice. - Min died because of me. I should have just thrown away that note. -Come on, you couldn't have known, buddy. - The healer patted him on the shoulder understandingly. - You acted with the best intentions. -No. Pride from defeating a fellow countryman clouded my mind. I forgot that baseness and vengefulness can affect absolutely anyone. No one else from my allies will suffer because of this tournament. *** Relhiras paid no attention to Hrodgeir's threats, simply cutting him to pieces with two light swings of his blade. Despite the evil deeds of its previous owner, the weapon turned out to be surprisingly light and easy to handle. After examining his opponent's belongings, Relhiras handed them over to his waiting comrades, and then stepped into the center of the arena. His heart was pounding in his chest, and a film of a few memories of his life in his homeland clouded his eyes. How quickly and unexpectedly the climax of a person's life comes, it cannot be prepared for or accepted calmly. Waiting for the roar of the noisy crowd to subside, the main organizer will say his word, and all the ceremonies required for such competitions will be performed, Relhiras took a step forward and confidently announced that he was challenging Burtarg to a duel.

Jert hadn't been paying much attention to the arena, as he had never been a fan of gambling or such duels. So, he spent the time wandering around the city and hanging out at the tavern. He was content knowing that Relhiras was still winning, which meant they were one step closer to completing their mission. However, at one point, the young man decided to join the group to see if there was any News besides the string of victories of their comrade.
After a brief conversation with Aldric, Jert learned that after defeating his fellow countryman, Relhiras had shown everyone a note mentioning some powerful potion. Everyone else was skeptical about this information, except for the brave Min, who fell into the trap of the vile Visterian.
It was sad for the archer, as she was the most beautiful and, most importantly, free girl in the "Iron Hearts." And it was a pleasure to watch her. However, it seemed that besides Jert, only the young Emma and Relhiras, who felt guilty, were grieving for the deceased.
After this News, Jert decided to go and watch Relhiras's final victory to see if he could handle Burtarg.

Okay, the guys are taking a long time to decide.

The "guys" immediately wrote that there's no point in going for this potion now and risking it. On the other hand, Ple-Sen's argument is also valid, so in reality, Mentha can be thanked.

Meanness and vindictiveness can affect absolutely anyone.

But so far, it's the Visterians who have shown themselves in this regard. It seems that a superhuman has entered the battle against miserable cockroaches, which he should crush like fleas. And what does this superhuman think? That if, by some miracle, the cockroach defeats him in a fair fight, he still needs to take revenge, mess things up, and cause trouble. However, nothing surprising, I imagined this nation exactly like that from the very beginning.

Burtarg, as befits a clan leader, watched the final battle from the stands, so his appearance in the arena was not long in coming. He descended to Relhiras amid the cheers of the spectators and the energetic beating of drums.
— May the best win, — said the warrior before the battle began.

Relhiras uses Demonic Slash Burtarg receives (crit) 0 damage Burtarg receives (crit) (1518+190-100)-50%=804 damage Burtarg receives (crit) (1518+190-100)-50%=804 damage Burtarg receives (crit) 0 damage Burtarg receives (crit) (1518+190-100)-50%=804 damage (-462/1950)

Before one of the lords of Heckel had time to fall to the ground, the spectators had already begun to honor their new leader.

When Goran and Mironega learned what had happened, the old woman began to lament the deceased, saying that she was still young, while the warrior took out a bottle and took several swigs from it, saying nothing.

and now I would execute all those who shouted "idiot" after the first match...

So, we have an entire clan at our disposal, what's next?
