Rhemic Empire (2) Auto-translated

Although Alaria found it difficult to deny that the style described by Master Taehyon sounded quite interesting, it still wasn't something she wanted to spend her precious time learning. Moreover, the philosophy of this school differed too much from the one followed by the inquisitor. Trying to learn here without first revising her views on the world would simply be disrespectful. So, after politely thanking the master for the explanation, she left the school grounds. This place wasn't for someone like her.
Basically, skip to the quest.

Soon, the city police arrived at the Licorice building, and it seemed to happen just as everything was coming to an end. This made many wonder if it was just a coincidence.
Regardless, once the cleanup and all the formalities were over, Amber paid each participant 40,000 (66,000) Rumis for successfully completing the mission, and an additional 5,000 each for saving the lives of the guests. However, it didn't seem like the mercenaries had time to rest.
— I have another important mission for you, — Amber apologized for the unexpected request and explained the situation with Alfard, — we don't know what secrets he's talking about, but I wouldn't want to rely on chance and hope that it's just the ramblings of a madman or a prank. What do you think?

After the events in "Akeso," it's hard to blame them...

Meretta the Ascetic – I can take her for money :o

- I think you're exaggerating... He's a bit strange, by ordinary standards, and he doesn't mind stirring things up, but he's kind and polite. He offered me candy and answered all my questions. He's lonely and bored in his house, no one visits him. Of course, he wants some attention! I'd be happy to visit him again, I have a few questions.
"...could my visit have been the reason for his sudden activity? After all, he hasn't talked to anyone for so long, could I have touched on some of his feelings?"

“Alright. In that case, I’ll assign this task to you and two other mercenaries of your choosing to assist you.”

- I'll take Denim and Beretta. No offense to Nickel – I heard he performed the best, but I have some combat experience with these two, and I think they'll work well in these conditions. If Beretta changes her perk to agility. If that's all, I'll leave you, wait for news. But not from the newspaper, but from my words.

Idol fitness; enhancer 3 + "flame"; 8 ruby, 8 topaz, 7 aquamarine, 7 amethyst, 14 spinel - 65,925.

Let Beretta buy Hephaestus, a little more amethyst and spinel. I demand this from her as the party leader! If she starts objecting about the children she needs to feed, let her talk to Venus.

What about Meretta?

16 people find themselves in the middle of a large hall. Their heads are still foggy from just regaining consciousness, and none of them can remember their last moments. The mission involving Alfard is the last memory they have, and then everything goes dark. The floor beneath their feet is made of neatly arranged green and white tiles, and the rich and heavy doors emphasize the style and opulence of the interior. But what caused them to lose consciousness and end up in this strange place? Whether it was magic or the use of physical force, it was no longer important. The involuntarily gathered group of people and non-humans clearly had other concerns.

"What the heck is going on?"
Arita felt strange; she was afraid of the unknown. To figure everything out, she first needed to determine who was around her and then act accordingly.
-Does anyone understand what kind of craziness is happening?

Hmm, I'll rephrase what was written.

-Does anyone understand what the hell is going on?

— Clearly, nothing good, — the snake-man got up from the floor and, approaching Arite, placed his wet hand on her shoulder.
— What a deep, insightful, and informative opinion, — the elf remarked.
— Do you want to repeat that?
— If necessary.
The snake-man reached for his weapon, while the elf snapped his fingers, expecting some kind of reaction, but to everyone's surprise, not only did nothing happen, but the two of them stood there stunned. As it turned out, the lizard didn't have any weapon at all. As for the elf, his hand gestures could only look comical.

What about Meretta?

She went home to sleep and died in her sleep. The end.

Revan, are they all disarmed here, or just the snake-man?

I think that's the case for everyone, because otherwise, the natural reaction would be to kill each other.

Ah, if only Livia had sided with Tsukiko; she would be the most useful character now...

Judging by the elf, I doubt it.
Revan, we remember who we work for and who we were supposed to complete the mission with, right?
