Option number 3 is the most effective, but it's hard to get:
I believe that Chaos isn't suitable for Sylvan, although with good artifacts for spellpower, you can level it up for option number 2.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
3. There is such a spell in Chaos – Armageddon. There is a skill in Chaos – Fire Lord. The Elf also has a skill in Light – Fire Resistance.
The Elf also has a small spell. All of this together is perfectly suited for a tactic of burning away the armor of all enemy troops, while the damage to your own troops will be very small, and Armageddon will not burn away the armor of your own troops. At the same time, the hero will receive Storm Wind, mass acceleration, and mass punishing strike.
The tactic in battle is simple: cast mass punishing strike, then cast mass acceleration, and then, each turn, cast Armageddon.
The damage of the Elf's troops will become simply huge after this, and the initiative will be increased.
I like this Chaos option the most :)
You can easily do without Chaos magic and take something else useful instead.
You can also find non-standard uses for it:
Cast spells on a hero or a ballista to increase their attack power!
After today's duel on the anniversary map, I was definitely convinced that Chaos magic is NEEDED, because lightning in the hands of a Ranger is a very powerful weapon!!!!
