Will the "scout" "explore" the "area"?
Well, I can "quickly" run ahead, return, save supplies, and see if it's worth moving in that direction or not?
Did you assign them in pairs?
Yes.

Well, I can quickly run ahead and come back.
You can come back, or you might not.

Okay, I found the answer in the database. The Scout's skill used to be better!

I also had an idea about using the dragon as a scout. So, should we head southwest (to explore more tiles) or try to find a place for her in our army?

- Hey, beautiful, - Kurat addressed Begonia. - Can you fly higher and see if there are any ruins of a temple behind the next dune? Otherwise, we'll end up walking around this desert until we die.

Anemone - Aria <- Celiad - Dillion <- Aiyano - Castor <- Livia - Tria <- Tsukiko.
Well, overall, I wanted to suggest something similar. The only thing is, I would swap Livia and Tria so that the healing spell affects the players and not the NPCs (or is it not one cell wide?, then it's okay), and possibly Dillion and Tsukiko. Because if Ment runs off to attack the enemies, both of our mages are left without support, and reinforcing the already powerful front line with two tanks might not be necessary. Otherwise, I agree.

Whatever

Oops, my bad. Everywhere I just wrote "west," it should be "east." I somehow mixed up the cardinal directions, lol.

We also had the idea of using a dragon rider for scouting. So, should we head southwest (to scout more tiles) or try to position her differently?
Kurat would position her.

Otherwise, I agree.
Anemone - Aria <- Seliad <- Aiyano - Castor <- Livia - Tria <- Dillion - Tsukiko.
Is this better?

— I can, but I won't. You don't know how to ask.

- I'm sorry, my dear. We, the Rheims, are used to taking everything by force and not asking for anything. Maybe you can teach me? Oh, I'll make her angry now, and she'll chop off my head.

- Begonia, we will all be very grateful to you if you do this, - Alaria interjected, glancing sideways at Kurat, - Unfortunately, nature has not endowed all of us equally.

I agree, although I would place Tsukiko somewhere with Celiad, but it's not critical, it's up to you. If she can reach everyone from anywhere, then there's no difference.

Oh, if I upset her now, she'll chop off my head.
That would be a funny way for a character to die.
Alright, where should she fly to?

Yes, I think it will work.

Another important point is that Tsukiko, in my opinion, has the highest initiative, which means that even in the event of an unexpected attack, she can easily take a favorable position for the group.
And otherwise... it will work for corridors, but we will fall apart from attacks from all sides and area-of-effect spells. But with eight combat-ready units, there's no way to defend against that.

Whatever
