Posts from Let's revive the Might and Magic universe.
Tengro, I just read this thread ))) and I wanted to say that reviving something is a troublesome task. And I don't want to mess around with the editor, but I share and support this idea! I was against a completely new world and new heroes...

Guys, now that we have Tribes of the East and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, everything is leading to the fact that even the Heroes of Might and Magic V world will burn in the flames of Urgash. If the idea is still alive, maybe we should look at it differently? HOMM5 is not the end, but the beginning?
И пока в кармане пачка милкиуэйев - значит все не так уж плохо на сегодняшний день
In general, I suggest we start reviving the series with this:

Believe me, this is only the beginning
The French company Ubisoft Entertainment has laid off the developers of the latest installments of the Might & Magic Heroes computer game. According to experts, the termination of the agreement was dictated by a lack of interest from the audience and low sales figures.
The sixth and seventh parts of the Might & Magic Heroes game series did not meet the expectations of Ubisoft Entertainment. The turn-based strategies developed by Limbic Entertainment became an unprofitable project for the distributor. Both parts received less than 50% of the user rating on Steam and insignificant sales figures worldwide. Ubisoft's official statement does not contain any specific criticism of the developers, but the sales statistics suggest otherwise. It is currently unknown how the "Heroes" series will develop further.
Players had mixed reactions to the sixth installment, comparing it to the more successful Heroes 3 and 5. According to experts, the termination of the agreement with Limbic Entertainment was dictated precisely by the poor position of the product on the market.

At the time, the fifth installment was relatively well-received and sold well. Therefore, the next, sixth installment was given the green light. But the sixth game severely undermined trust in Ubisoft, but it still sold relatively well (benefiting from the brand and the old guard of fans). The seventh installment was already awaited with distrust, and this distrust was fully justified. And then they abandoned the project without support, leaving it in an unfinished state with a bunch of bugs...
Ubisoft is in a difficult situation: continuing the series on their own after so many failures is simply foolish, and leaving it to gather dust as dead weight is irrational, as they have invested huge amounts of money in the project.
Perhaps we will see a new global reboot of the series, like the fifth installment once was. Under the wing of a new company, and in a new world. And in my opinion, this is rather good news, as Ashan has become stagnant and is not developing, and it has also become tiresome - fresh blood is needed.
If the task is phrased like this: Let's revive the M&M universe, then I'm in. I am all for a revival!
I agree! I’m totally on board. Include me too. I see that Heroes 5 has stood the test of time, and strangely enough, even the failures of parts 6 and 7 haven't diminished interest in them. I suggest we start reviving the Heroes Universe by introducing a new race into the Gameplay. What are your ideas?

Here is a topic discussing the death of the old world in Heroes 5:
The World of Might And Magic - The NWC World - Now it is dead in Heroes 5
And here is another interesting topic created by AlexPank, which I recently came across, and which also contains part of my idea, only there the plot side is being solved, but my topic is slightly different:
Connection of Times
