Hey everyone! I got back yesterday, but only had time to post today. What can I say? It was magnificent! Huge thanks to Alex and his team for organizing everything; any questions were resolved promptly and thoroughly (Bamberg was, of course, wonderful), to the participants for the tournament and the exciting games, to the spectators for coming and supporting us, to Bert for the fish soup, to the photographers for the photo reports, and to the dendroid fund for simply existing! It was a shame not to see many Heroes players, but at the same time, I'm glad to have made some new acquaintances. The venue was pleasant, and I'm feeling great for the year ahead. Actually, it's not jealousy; it's just that the person is upset that they didn't see a competitive final. You shouldn't pay attention to such people.

I looked at the photos, and I'm genuinely happy for you! It's great that the game "Heroes" (and not just drinking or poker) has brought together people who have grown up over so many years. I see that everything went well, and finally, the strongest player became the champion (not always was this the case in the CIS region, in my opinion). The photos of Vanya and Katya are especially good! They look very nice together)))

Got home. Thanks to everyone for the great company, I got a boost of positive energy! The Polish guy was awesome, and Vanya was simply amazing! I was glad to meet new people, and I hope to see you all next time.

I saw you play in the final, your skill and level of play are clear to me. I have two questions: how did you even make it to the final? And why don't you know simple things, like casting Shield against Gogs? What kind of amateur move is that?

Let me answer both questions.
On his way to the final, he defeated:
1. Lizard (the reigning CIS champion at the time)
2. Reddit (defeated everyone except him)
3. Valenok (defeated everyone except him)
4. FTS (the champion)
If you look closely, this was the strongest lineup of opponents on the way to the final. Not a single easy match. During the first three rounds, his level of play was good; I watched all these games. Unlike armchair critics who drew conclusions about his level of play based on casting Shield (LOL).

Regarding the final game. Let's start with the fact that, despite the large number of counters, the situation was VERY difficult. Everyone understood this, except for certain individuals from the stream. Not everyone could play and win in this situation, even a strong player. If you add to this the excitement of playing in the final (although how would you know what that's like?), then the result was predictable - a loss of momentum, which is impossible to compensate for against FTS, although he would still have won against a weaker player.

The time will come, and I will join the CIS participants; you can believe me.

Come on, come. Because if you were there, you would never have written such nonsense. None of those present thought that Jelen made it to the final by chance.

Congratulations on 2nd place in the mini-tournament that is NOT CIS.

Indeed, the tournament has gone beyond the CIS region and has become a full-fledged international tournament, as it included players from 4 different countries. Although this would make some people even more upset.

I'm sure many people felt the same way, especially compared to FireToSky's game.
Also, I think many would like to see a stream of the 1st round: HellLighT - twaryna, 2nd round: twaryna - FireToSky, 3rd round: FireToSky vs Gomunguls, 4th round: Redwhait - twaryna. It's not 2010 anymore, when the tournaments started; it's the 17th, and the internet has become much better. Hundreds of people were watching HellLighT's games on the stream, which means there is interest in such games within the Heroes community.
Otherwise, well done; it was an excellent tournament.

Did you guys make a deal or something? On Friday, one of my friends, fueled by drinks, talked at length about how upset he was for Mother Russia. FireToSky's setup was simpler in technical terms – there was money, there was an army that could break through, plus excellent execution – they left no chances.

This year, the internet was good, but we still need to remember that we were in the woods, where even MTS doesn't have coverage, and we were playing via Wi-Fi, on laptops. It was noticeable that the broadcast lagged a lot in the final, so talking about streaming all the games is still premature. But in any case, there were consistently a couple of streams, so there is progress.

I think it's all about the pressure. Dark also choked in the final 2 years ago, and before that, I made mistakes in Michurinsk with Predz that cost us 5 games.

A good point, but there are some issues. First, there is the matter of the players' own desire to stream; you can't force everyone. Second, you need a good and stable internet connection so nothing drops and there is the possibility for a quality stream. You also need devices that meet the requirements for a quality stream.
Since there really were many viewers and interested people, which is good, it makes sense to increase the visibility of this tournament.
Accordingly, if you plan it out properly and prepare before the start of the tournament, it could turn out really great.
For example, there are two people (one person can't handle it if there are several central matches in the first round) who go to the championship with the goal of streaming. Their task is to set up the streams and provide interesting commentary, conduct interviews, analysis, and a whole bunch of other things in general; this goes into the planning section. It would also be good if these are well-known, knowledgeable players who, for some reason, are not playing in this particular championship or have ended their careers.
:) The organizers need to provide that internet connection, no matter the cost or effort. There's also the matter of a relay from the players, to somehow set up a quality retransmission.
IMHO, the outcome will be excellent visibility, great streams, a lot of positivity, and donations (to motivate streamers). In general, that's about it; if the organizers and streamers have the desire, the rest is a done deal.

The Pole is a really cool guy overall. At 19 years old, he didn't get scared after all the incidents on HeroesWorld with Cobra and Lizard (and he even killed him in Heroes, he's an artist; if he had gone a bit further, he would have punished him even more and another fellow too - put everything in its place, Polish revenge for the last championship :smile54: ). He came to another country, didn't notice anyone until the final, and if there were a bit more prize money, who knows how much chaos he would have caused. These are Heroes after all, in short, a red-blooded champion!
