Posts from Collector’s Edition vs. Gold Edition

Could you explain what the special hero trail is that is only available in the collector's edition? If you mean that after assembling a large army, butterflies will fly around the elf hero when moving on the map, and fire will burn around the demon lord, then this feature was also available in the regular version.
And what is the difference between the original from the Gold edition (2.3 GB) and the original from the Collector's Edition (1.7 GB)? Both are licensed versions and have identical content, but the size differs significantly.

The gold edition includes the Dark Messiah mod/campaign; its executable file is located in the Bin DM folder. :)

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a legitimate copy of King's Bounty now?
