I rewatched Clint Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby." The first time, I watched it emotionally, empathizing with Maggie. The second time, I watched it calmly and thoughtfully. The plot seems simple, but... what is this film about? What do you think? After all, Maggie Fitzgerald is a fictional character. What did Eastwood want to say with his film? 1. About the brutal struggle for money and fame. 2. About the dilemma: to live a long and boring life or a short and bright one? 3. About athletes who have been cast aside by the sports industry. 4. Did he want to raise the question: does it make sense to live in severe suffering, and can euthanasia be justified? You can choose several options.

In my opinion, it's a typical sports movie. The only thing is that the sport itself isn't very common, which makes the film interesting. For example, I've never seen a women's boxing match on TV. And the actress doesn't look like a boxer at all. She doesn't have a broken nose.
