- Will you disappear once you grant the wish? And can you disappear even if we don't make a wish?
- You are tiring me. What could possibly prevent me from leaving at any moment, or from not leaving at all?

"Granting wishes? Hmm, is it worth the risk? Yes, these devils are quite the tricksters, according to the stories, but... but I've spent most of my life dealing with all sorts of rogues and swindlers!"
- How did I figure out that you grant wishes? And, if you don't mind me asking, what's the price for your, ahem, services? Souls, as the children's scary stories say?

- But we can summon you again, since this is a summoning amulet. Isn't that right? - the elf continued to ask. - Don't you want to join us on our journey?

*And Heimyr just stands there, looking around.* Is there really only one way – to the sea?

- How did you manage to grant wishes? And, if you don't mind me asking, what's the price for your, ahem, services? Souls, as the children's horror stories say?
- A fair exchange.
- But we'll be able to summon you again, since this is a summoning amulet. Right?
- Sometimes I feel sorry for mortals, - the demon feigned a shake of his head, - it must be very unpleasant to have such an imperfect memory and forget what you were told just a couple of minutes ago.
- Want to join us?
- Unless you don't mind wasting your own time.

- In that case, I have a business proposition for you, Mr. Demon! Every life I take on my path will increase my own strength and lifespan. Of course, without making this kind of payment, I won't gain any personal benefit either. So, do we have a deal?

Mwa-ha-ha! - The demon burst into laughter again, - naive, ignorant, mortal boy. I'll show you something, - the demon's strong and hot hand instantly gripped the one-eyed man's face, and a moment later, they both disappeared.

Kerlian wanted to stop them, but the demon and the one-eyed creature vanished quickly. - Cursed Reynold! Selfish! He will regret his haste. *Okay, I need the amulet. Maybe I can summon him again.* - With these thoughts, the elf ran out into the street.

- He made the deal, not me, but Reynold. They disappeared, and I need the amulet to summon the demon again. Give it to me.

Give me back my treasure!

Hostor listened intently to his companions' conversation with the demon.
A fair exchange? Hmm... I have a couple of ideas...
His thoughts were interrupted by the demon's sharp laughter. He grabbed Reynold and disappeared.
...Um...
Redram, somewhat shocked, looked around.
Well, at least if the dwarf turns into a half-dragon, half-cow and spits poison at everyone, and Death himself appears from the Abyss with an offer to drink strong whiskey, I won't be too surprised...

- Hmm... last time, I just took it, and the demon appeared, but what should I do now? - The hunter muttered to himself, rubbing the amulet.

Nothing happens; the amulet's stone doesn't even glow.
