And it's the same every time I try again – I don't have enough time to build up an army... I have no idea what to do.

I didn't have any problems with anyone, especially not with Mark. All the Barbarian units are strong. Only harpies are lagging behind until they get upgraded!
Regarding tactics: definitely, by the end of the second week, you need to kill Karl again in his castle, otherwise he will keep coming back! It's not easy, but it's possible. Two castles + a dive into the dungeon will give you even more powerful units and a gold mine)).
From below, a hero will come and take the first castle)). He is not difficult to defeat)) with minimal losses. After that, go south on the map, and you will find a castle under construction and a lot of powerful units and... and... and... MY FAVORITES - SNOW GOLEMS!!!!!!!!!! That's it! Well, this is the second time I've played as the Orcs. I have two goals.
1. I need a Blood hero in the final campaign.
2. I need to get the dynasty weapon in the Blood quest.

So, Sandor is back in battle.
However, this time I'm playing more casually - using autobattle, not clearing the map completely. The result is, of course, modest because I messed up at the beginning - I forgot to build castles and, out of habit, went to all corners)

Honestly, I don't feel like playing on Hard.
It takes too much time. So I play all the maps on Easy.
I've been playing for almost a year now, and I'm still just messing around.

I always play as Mages because I think they are much easier to play! It's harder to build up Blood, Tears are easier. But for a Warrior, as I've come to understand, Tears are the best!
Dynastic weapon?? Which one? I just defeated Mark, and he gave me the "Sword of Wolves." But I'm playing as a Mage, so I'm leaving it for now. As I understand it, there will be another dynastic weapon in this campaign?

That's the thing, there are several of them here. In the second mission, you can choose between the Staff of Thunder or the Sword of Visboln, depending on the hero's reputation. The first time I played, I took the sword (Tears); now, I'm playing a second time and took the Staff (Blood). Level 11 mage? I ended up with a level 9 warrior. You can see it in the screenshot.

Seriously – level 11! I was surprised myself, as you usually can only reach level 10 in the first mission.

I don't want to waste time. That's why I complete all maps on Easy.

I had to replay one part at the beginning - first, I freed the goblins, defeated the Vestals at the obelisk, and then Karl appeared on the horizon. I couldn't capture the town and defend myself on the first try. I went back to the previous save - I went around the hill, towards the gold mine - Karl approached the obelisk, but he didn't capture the town, but turned towards me, which gave me some time! I captured the town and built the first level of fortifications, and then I built the goblin houses, and in short, I crushed Karl completely - his clothes were worse than Sandor's before the battle :smile08:. Then he came to visit me with Eduardo - I defeated Eduardo, and then Karl again. So, here's the path to victory :smile20:! Go for it!

What's the point of the link? Are you trying to brag that you play on Easy mode?! What's so difficult or interesting there?

Hmm, what's wrong with that? You could say it's a warm-up. In general, I played without straining myself to focus on the plot rather than getting bogged down in battles.

The main strategy is to increase the tribe's rage to boost the initiative of your units and give them the first turn! Sandor's attack allows you to increase the rage by 10 points, BUT this often helps!

As for Karl, I managed to lure him out and defeat him without any losses only in the 6th month - he fell for my assistant, he wanted to grab a city, you see... yeah, right :smile53: - he didn't even make it one step to his city, he was standing almost at the gates. The AI messed up, didn't teleport :smile52:, and I caught him warm, and then took the city with just 90 centaurs :smile44:!

I started playing again. But now, it's a quest hero without any changes. Warrior – what a challenge! It's very difficult to play, but so interesting!! Karl came to me at the end of the first week. I defended the Castle, lost a few Brutes. I bought the population, recruited Goblins, and went to Karl's Castle. I attacked when I was level 4. My only skill was "Reinforcements." I killed him, but lost 25 Brutes out of 60. Hooray, the Castle is mine! BUT I need to free the Harpies and Centaurs. I attacked: 30 Brutes and 53 Goblins. Enemy: 10 Air Elementals, 60 Wolves, and two stacks of Earth Elementals of 10 each. Oh, what a battle: Sandor's skill combined with the racial ability is everything!!! Thanks to it, the Elementals couldn't regenerate until the Brutes attacked! After the battle, only 8 Brutes and 17 Goblins remained! I barely made it. But now I have 30 Harpies and 8 Centaurs. HOORAY! While I was going down to the Dungeon, a hero came from below and took the first Castle... damn... I have to defend it again, and again I'm taking losses... And he took the Castle on Sunday, and the next day he bought the entire population... That's rough... Now I've defended my first Castle and his lower one. It's very interesting to play as a Warrior – it's difficult, but interesting! Especially as a Barbarian, where the units are directly tied to physical damage! The armies seem a bit too large.

I don't usually rush through a playthrough, but I NEVER skip turns, especially when I have a HUGE army! I completed it on "Hero" difficulty, so it didn't take too long.

How many towns do the red faction have in total? I've already captured 3.
