I made up my mind. Kyiv set a bad example – it didn't work out. Perhaps the timing was wrong, or the players' enthusiasm waned, or maybe other factors were at play; who knows. But all is not lost. So, I am announcing the holding of a qualifying tournament for Ukraine for the upcoming CIS Championship 2011. It seems that the championship itself will be held in Michurinsk. The region is not particularly inaccessible; I saw that there are inexpensive trains from Kyiv and Kharkiv to Lipetsk, and from there it is 80 km to Michurinsk. 2. Jebus, Mini-Nostalgia, Smka. Jebus is better - because it's not so easy to drag out a game on it, unlike the others, which is very useful for a time-limited tournament. In principle, I'm not against trying new maps like Zerkalka and Yolka, I'll study them...

Well done, Piterius! Here's my advice: to try and finish the game, bring your laptops, and play out the drawn-out matches at home after the club, or choose restarts, factions, etc., at home in the evening/night. And in general, we in Siberia have long decided that clubs are not for us: it's uncomfortable, extra expenses, time to gather, get there, pay rent... If there aren't many people (8-10), you can rent a large apartment or house and play/hang out/watch the matches there; it's much more enjoyable - that's our choice! Good luck! :-)

Regarding laptops and the option of renting a "large space," I'm all for it. The question is how many participants will be registered and whether they will be able to bring their laptops.

2. There's something to discuss here. We need to find a compromise between minimizing the game time and balancing the template. For example, Panic games will be quick (it seems to me), but is it more balanced than 8mm6(a)? In short: I'll play Panic, Jeb, CM, 8mm6(a), Balance, Mininostalgia. I'm against everything else.
3. All proposed options are somewhat "inconvenient." Maybe we can tailor it to some holidays (March 8th?).
4. I'll definitely be available on weekends, and 80% likely on Friday (for now).

Just to clarify: I'm not against anything (as long as there's an HD mod). I'm "against" Light for one reason: I don't have it, and I don't want to install it if we're going to play on our laptops.

Version is of course WT, HD mod should be finished first so I don't forget to pick up troops out of habit. And on SOD you can't really run xl templates — one-way portals and the lack of Mage Guild restructuring are annoying
