I've added an MP3 soundtrack player to "Heroes of Might and Magic II."
Because the Miles Sound System, which worked well in 1996,
now works intermittently.
And CD audio as a format is clearly
becoming a thing of the past.

Could you provide a seed (between 18:00 and 21:00 Moscow time, or on weekends) or upload this patch in a way that doesn't require a constantly active seed?

(I've been looking for a way to play the English GOLD version while listening to the CD music (opera vocals) without the CD being involved. The Russian version from Buka (various AllHeroes.iso files) seems to contain this music as files, not CD tracks (i.e., its executable has functionality similar to your patch), but the translated names like "Jotunn" in that version just "drive me crazy" 8), and I haven't been able to successfully replace the executable of the English version with the patched executable of the Russian version.)

I no longer need a seed (it turns out, it was a plugin in Opera that was lying; there are plenty of seeds available).
