In this format, perhaps it would be better to hold a match between Michurinsk and everyone else, so that each person plays no more than 2-3 games. In Kyiv, people complained that they spent the entire trip in the basement, even though they played only 1 game per day. But in this tournament, the minimum is 4 games over 3 days.

Why would you need Heroes with this approach? Then you should just go on vacation, without laptops and other nonsense. A deck of cards, tokens, and off you go! What kind of tournament motivation can there be in nature with barbecues or in a country cottage? :D

So, the dates are the same. People are invited to hang out and play. Unfortunately, only for three days. Arbitration courts are my bread and butter; I make a living from them, so I can't dedicate too much time to the gathering.
Another negative is the accommodation. Of course, I'll put people up at my place, but my two-bedroom apartment isn't exactly spacious. There's a hotel in the city center, it's large, well-maintained, with rooms for two, and the director is a good friend of mine.
It's just expensive, 800 rubles per room per night. For example, people could arrive on Friday, stay on Saturday, and leave on Sunday evening. Two days would cost 1600 rubles, which is expensive in my opinion, but we'll see.

Regarding the sanatorium – renting it and having a purely Heroes-themed gathering for three days will be considered; I'll let you know by the end of the week.

How do you get to me from Siberia? I don't know, I haven't tried. I think you'd go to Moscow, and then there are many trains, almost all of which go south through Michurinsk.
From the Paveletsky railway station, buses run to Tambov every two hours, passing through Michurinsk. Both options take about 6-7 hours and cost around 500-600 rubles.
I would really enjoy chatting with the guys; I've only had one person from Siberia, Dreamcatcher.

A collective football viewing – only on a big screen, plus we'll definitely play on the field and enjoy other summer activities.

Friends, the discussion has been productive, so I'll summarize all the clarifications and answers to questions in one post.

1. This will be a serious tournament with a good lineup, not a scam. There will be 4 rounds of Swiss-system play. I have ten years of experience organizing Heroes tournaments; I've hosted over 30 tournaments, and there have been no complaints, only excellent reviews.

2. Versions. SoD, TE, WoG. We'll try to arrange it so that players can choose the version that suits both of them. The set of maps will be similar to the one used in Kyiv.

3. Accommodation. The option with the sanatorium is tempting, but ultimately, no. It's far from the club and other simple pleasures, so we'll go with a hotel.

4. Now, about the costs. The main expense is travel; everything else is not too burdensome.
I'll try to accommodate as many people as possible at my place, but, as I mentioned, my apartment isn't that big, so some guests will have to stay at the hotel. It's a double room, and the hotel staff is fine with late check-ins. Guests will have the phone numbers of the on-duty hotel administrators. The hotel is located near the club, just one block away. 800 rubles x 2 days = 1600 rubles. I don't think you'll spend much time there; in the summer, you can sit by the river until morning.

Club. Either it's free, or, at worst, you'll have to pay 400-500 rubles for three days.
Food. There's a tavern and a pizzeria nearby; lunch will cost about 100 rubles at either place, and the food is good.

Other expenses. We might chip in 500-700 rubles for a barbecue. I'll buy supplies based on 1 kg of meat and 1 bottle of vodka (or wine) per person, not counting various ketchup, tomatoes, and mayonnaise.

Another ten people will decide in June, but they want to come. Only one person is too busy with work and said they won't be able to make it.
