Mafia 15. Cosa Nostra.

Sicily, a small coastal town, August 1953...
...After the war, the mafiosi became completely emboldened. Raids on shops have become daily occurrences. Now every citizen is required to pay pizzo; moreover, it has increased several times over. Drugs and contraband are sold almost openly on the street. The entire town lives in constant fear. No, this cannot go on; they must answer for all their atrocities. Let them hide, let them flee the town — the gallows will be their fate regardless. I, the judge of this town, and all citizens capable of fighting — we shall remain in the town to put an end to organized crime once and for all...
Game Rules
1. Mage Guild – Vegtam. All NDs, questions, and suggestions should be sent via PM, Skype (batonkamch), or ICQ (403882055). ICQ is preferred.
2. Changing your nickname, avatar, signature, or personal information during the game is prohibited. If it is vital for you to change this information, discuss the changes with the Mage Guild first. It is preferable not to change your profile even after you have been eliminated from the game — wait until its conclusion.
3. The game begins with a night. At night, players send NDs according to their role (if you decide not to use an ND, notify the Mage Guild; otherwise, it will be considered offline and may lead to a modkill). The Mage Guild must confirm receipt of the NDs. The sooner the Mage Guild receives all NDs, the sooner day will break.
Night limit is 24 hours, after which NDs are not accepted. No one has the right to write anything in the game thread at night, even in "deleted posts".
4. Day lasts exactly 24 hours. In extremely rare cases, an earlier or later conclusion of the day is possible.
5. Votes must be formatted in bold as "Execute " (creativity is allowed within reason), otherwise the vote will not be counted. If you do not believe anyone should be executed today, announce that you abstain from voting in the format "Hang No One". If you wish to cancel your vote, write "Do Not Execute ", also in bold. Only one vote and one cancellation are permitted per message.
Execution requires only a majority of votes. If a player reaches the "required" number of votes, they will still be hanged only after the day ends and only if the votes do not change. If the majority vote "Hang No One", then the day ends without any players being executed.
All "double votes" are displayed only in the voting results and only if they belong to the majority.
From time to time, I will post a tally of all votes for the current game day. Of course, this is important. For me and for you. Players are also permitted to keep a tally.
6. Clues about killers in reports are given based on the user's profile (nickname, avatar, signature, etc.). If a murder was unsuccessful, the killer will find out, but not why it failed. No clues are given for unsuccessful murders, except those declared by the killer themselves. Reports also contain a hint regarding the role of the deceased. Clues based on a chosen name are given only when it is difficult or impossible to create clues based on the profile.
The killer may plant 1 additional clue at the crime scene. It must point to them and be original (i.e., do not leave clues of the "for the super-observant" variety). Regarding the difficulty of these clues, there is considerable freedom, but the Mage Guild reserves the right to reject a specific clue, with or without explanation.
7. Discussing the game outside this thread (i.e., in PMs, ICQ, etc.) is permitted only if you have a role that allows it.
In groups, decisions are made collectively; the final word rests with the group leader. If any member of the group is offline, the group leader may make a decision without them.
8. Do not edit your messages. Try to write without errors from the start.
9. Eliminated players and those not participating in the game are prohibited from writing in the game thread, discussing the game with participants, or posting information about their own/others' roles. All comments — after the end of the game, or in the "General Discussions" thread.
10. It is prohibited to reveal your own / others' role, or elements of it, as well as information obtained through them, in public places or among players not in your group. The same applies to information about other players. Phrases like "well, I also know something about him that I can't say" are a violation, regardless of whether you actually know something or are lying. Statements such as "I checked," "according to my information, which I cannot disclose," "I know for sure," etc., are prohibited. Unargued shouts like "he is MAF!", "I am Peaceful!", etc., are permitted.
To avoid violating this rule, try to frame your thoughts as assumptions or as IMHO based, for example, on clues or behavior. It is permitted to reference the rules, the Mage Guild, your own posts, or other players' posts, as well as any external sources where you dug up information via clues.
11. Modkill (in rare cases — replacement) is performed:
- In case of a gross violation of the rules or a repeated minor violation.
- If for two consecutive days, nights, or one day and night, a player shows no activity without notifying the Mage Guild about possible offline status.
- It may be performed at the player's request due to circumstances that prevent them from taking active part in the game.
12. First-night immunity (the inability to kill a person possessing it on the first night of the game) is given to the following participants:
- Those killed on the first night in the previous game.
- The moderator of the previous game.
- Newcomers (players playing "Mafia" on our forum for the first time).
- Players who missed three or more previous games.
13. Advertisements can be submitted to the newspaper (mention the text of the ad in your ND). Ads can be submitted in any volume and contain any information, including false or out-of-game info. A banal example: "Vegtam has a bad status. Your comments." Any signature (as specified). Limit — 5 ads per player during the game.
14. And most importantly... it's a game, after all. The main thing is that you have fun.
