Good day to all the fans of Heroes 1. Today, I searched the entire internet, but I couldn't find the music from the first Heroes game in separate files. :( I remember that one of the "Igrovania" magazines had all the soundtracks for all parts of the Heroes series, but I can't find that disc. :( If anyone has these music files, please upload them to this thread or provide a download link. Thank you in advance. P.S. The music from the Barbarian Castle is simply a masterpiece of that time! Sincerely, VDV_forever

Found some music files on my computer after installing the first Heroes game. They are located in the Sounds folder of the Heroes game. There are 49 sound files with the extension ogg - "HEROESXX.ogg".

On the "Igrovania" disc, all the music was made into separate files in the standard *.wma (or even *.mp3) format. :(

Is it possible to extract the music from this "HEROESXX.ogg" file somehow?

Vitaly named the file provisionally. XX represents the file numbers. There are 49 of them. The number for the Barbarian theme is heroes31. It has the OGG extension, but that's not a problem. You can even listen to it with the standard WMPlayer.
PS: I wanted to upload it here, but the server won't accept it :o
