Basically, I tried everything: just Heroes, Whirlwinds of War, The Loom of Fate... But I kept running into the same problem. I would download a new scenario, check which expansion it was intended for, then enable the corresponding expansion and launch the game. This continued until I found a unique version of Heroes of Might and Magic 4 - The Last Battle, which includes all the units, buildings, and artifacts from the expansions. I also found new campaigns from the "Chariots of the Gods," "Death Era," and another series. Could you tell me if "Chariots of the Gods" is also an expansion or just 6 campaigns? And also, what can "The Last Battle" be considered?

As far as I know, there are only two expansions – "The Coming Storm" and "Whirlwinds of War." All other additions are not official; they don't add anything new (except for Equi, but I downloaded maps with Equi objects, and the game seemed to work fine). So, feel free to consider "Chariots of the Gods" and similar ones as just collections of fan-made campaigns. ;) And all units, buildings, and so on appear in "Whirlwinds," including those from "The Coming Storm." ;)

Hmm... Which expansion came out first: The Coming of the Storm or Whirlwinds? I'm just asking because in the editor, the units are divided between the sections of these expansions. To be precise:
The Coming of the Storm - buildings: coliseums, conservatories
artifacts: tiger armor, harmony chainmail, etc.
units: goblin knight, champion of darkness, witch, gargantua

Whirlwinds of War - catapults, raging bull, megadragon

The upcoming Storm came out earlier :)
And in general, I recommend playing Equilibris, the balance is more refined there, and the AI is smarter! Plus, there are many different changes!

And even better, play online, it's an indescribable experience! ;)
