Dear map creators,

considering the specifics of online games, the maps you create must meet the following requirements:

1. Maps should be created in Russian and should not contain large amounts of text to avoid distracting players from the game.

2. The map archive should contain a readme file explaining the plot and scripts of the map. Screenshots of the main objects on the map are welcome. It should be formatted in Word or PDF.
It is possible to duplicate maps for the monster-object set version 1.0 and for the monster-object set version 3.0.

3. Map size: S (small) or M (medium).
(large maps take too long for online play)

4. Maps should be playable at the Expert level with a time limit of 4-8 minutes.

5. There should be at least one Castle for each player.
(building a Castle makes the game more interesting; also, Castles provide access to magic and the ability to resurrect heroes)

6. The game on the map should not last longer than 35 days, but it should give players at least 14 days to develop.
(use large distances between players on the map or guards that cannot be broken without first leveling up heroes and gathering an army)

7. Ensure that players can level up at least 3 (preferably 4, 5, or 6) heroes to at least level 13 within the allotted playing time.

8. The map should be playable with all types of Castles, including Barbarian.
(make the skills "Pathfinding", "Martial Tactics" and "Logistics" available for any Castle; provide Barbarians with good magic)

9. Despite the distant availability of enemies, the map should offer periodic encounters between players.
(organize the game so that opponents do not have the feeling that they are playing against neutrals until the final battle)

10. Players must be able to gather a strong army within 14-21 days.
(as an example, maps where you can accumulate in your army monsters of levels 4 and 3, totaling 6000 experience points (level 4 monsters, at Expert level) and 6000 experience points (level 3 monsters, at Expert level) within 14-21 days are interesting)

11. Block unbalanced artifacts ("Symbol of Failure" (Fizbin), artifacts that increase the number of movement points of the army (Boots - add movement points), etc.), spells (if necessary: "Town Portal", "Pain Mirror", etc.) and skills (if necessary: "Seamanship", "Stealth" and 4 magical skills)...

12. The map preferably has interesting quests.
(these include quests related to obtaining rarely leveled skills (charm, summoning, nobility, etc.) and artifacts that enhance them)

Remember that following these rules will guarantee the playability of your map, but additional creative ideas are only welcome!

For their map, the author creates a topic in this subforum (in accordance with the example), from which testers can download it and where they can discuss adjustments to the map.

Each author submits only 1 map for testing until it is fully approved.

Good luck!
