Could you please tell me where to download HeroScaner 1.6 and how to use it?

Here's how to use it: launch the scanner, then start a new game in Heroes. After 10-20 seconds, minimize Heroes (Alt+Tab). Then, select the desired hero from the list on the lower left. The large window on the right shows the skill tree. When you've selected a hero, click the plus signs next to them, and a window will appear showing what you receive at level 1. Click the plus sign next to the desired ability, and a window will appear showing what you receive at level 2 if you choose that ability.

Everyone is writing about what to wait for and what to do there! But that's obvious! The question is, where should I save the game so that later the game recognizes it and knows how to proceed?

I saved it in "My Documents" as the program suggested, but it still doesn't work in the game :( HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused: :( :mad:

violette, it's very bad if there are folders with inappropriate (non-Latin) characters on the path to the save file.

Sorry if I didn't express myself quite correctly; I don't have any Russian characters on my Windows system (it's an English version!).

violette, your question is more appropriate for the "Technical Support" section. And in order to provide a relevant answer, the question itself needs to be specific. It's completely unclear what "it still doesn't work in the game" means. What does the game say? I don't need to artificially inflate my post count. I haven't been caught engaging in off-topic discussions so far. Although, as now, I sometimes indulge in off-topic remarks.

No. There are scanners available for the original 1.5 version and for Hammers of Fate 2.1. The scanner will not work on other versions.

When I first had version 1.0 of Heroes 5, I tried to download add-on 1.6 for it, and I downloaded and installed it, but the game wouldn't launch afterward, so don't even try, it won't work anyway. It's better to download the version you need from the internet or just buy the disc, but not with version 1.0:D

I would not recommend honest players to use any hero scanner, because I myself am an honest player. Because a hero scanner predicts the probability of skills appearing, and that is not fair play.
