I recently stumbled upon a very interesting website about socionics – the science of psychological types and their interactions – but it’s not exactly a scientific “fact,” of course. (I won’t name it, so as not to advertise it.) At first, I was skeptical, but then I took the test, learned my psychological type, read its description, and realized that much of what was written there was true. What are your thoughts on this?;) I’d be interested to read them.
P.S. By the way, my socionic type is “Balzac” (ILI), if anyone is interested.

No, I don't have a very positive attitude towards socionics. Although its predictions are often accurate, I don't like the idea of classifying people based on their psychological traits. I feel the same way about horoscopes. Of course, every person is unique, but I'm also not a fervent advocate for individuality. But choosing friends and loved ones based on questionnaires – like, according to this test, this person is like this, so I'll be friends with him, but that person has a different trait, so I won't be friends with him because he's incompatible with my character – isn't particularly appealing. This is my subjective opinion, i.e., my personal opinion, i.e., IMHO.

Well, I didn't say that everyone should be chosen based solely on tests;). And these aren't exactly horoscopes. Horoscopes aren't scientific. But this is science;).
And it doesn't mean that you shouldn't be friends with other psychological types. Quite the contrary, it indicates how, considering a person's psychological characteristics, you can understand them and become friends with them;). Or at least accept them as they are, since a psychological type is formed in childhood and then hardly changes.

If only I knew what that was.
