Posts from Star Wars: what is your opinion about the movie?

Personally, I enjoyed all 6 parts. Although the special effects in 4, 5, and 6 are terrible (by the way, it was very good for the 80s), the plot is good. What do you think about this movie?

a good movie. the special effects in the classic trilogy are decent. not by today's standards, of course. but I don't judge a movie by its special effects. a prime example is "Forrest Gump," my favorite movie, which has no special effects. but that doesn't make it any worse. ...I don't really like the new trilogy; the second and third installments are just blatant pop. of course, this trilogy concludes (or begins?) the story, but... it all seems somehow... alien, or something. you don't watch it like you watch episodes 4-6, replaying them over and over. the atmosphere is lost. all of this is, of course, just my opinion.

In the third part, I felt so sorry for the Jedi; it was so upsetting for them...
By the way, the only thing I don't like about parts 4, 5, and 6 is that there's only one Jedi there (Obi-Wan and Yoda don't count, but Vader is a Sith).

And I also didn't like how Yoda was portrayed in Episode IV. And by the way, I didn't say that Episodes IV, V, and VI didn't appeal to me!

Not bad, but I like the classic trilogy much more than the first, second, and third episodes. The plot is more enjoyable, and Han Solo is more charismatic.

by the way, I love the classics, and for what it's worth, I appreciate Harrison Ford's performance in that role.

Loken, I agree! This is 60% of what I love about the old trilogy.

By the way, some of my acquaintances say that there are only 3 parts of Star Wars. They say that the 4th one will be released.

I noticed one mistake in the movie plots:
in parts 4, 5, and 6, Obi-Wan says that Yoda trained him, but in reality, it was Qui-Gon.

Yoda trained him when he was a youngling. By the way, Obi-Wan was not wanted as an apprentice for a long time; he was already sent to the agricultural corps (all younglings who are not accepted for training by the Jedi Masters are sent there)... the rest can be found in the books. By the way, there are no Sith or Jedi now; Skywalker has united everyone into one academy for studying the Force. I haven't read the latest books, but in general, someone attacked the galaxy from another galaxy, and everyone had to unite (Chewbacca was killed :smile05:).

I honestly grew up on the 5th episode – I had a pirated copy on video, and I watched it for days. It was my relic)) I still love the 5th episode more than any other. Well, then comes the classic trilogy – Han Solo is just awesome – especially in the 4th, when he runs after the clones, runs out into an entire squad – and he has SUCH A FACE! I was blown away – it's my number one.

Well, I also liked the 1st episode – it was well-made. Everything is in its place, nothing лишнего – the fights are beautiful, not those ridiculous jumps in the 3rd. And after The Empire Strikes Back, I loved it even more))

Yeah))) when he runs alone towards a crowd of stormtroopers with a single blaster and shouts, that's my favorite moment.
I also have a book about Star Wars, the classic trilogy, the whole thing. I've reread it many times, and I always liked that moment too.

I liked all the parts in principle. I just didn't watch the 4th one completely.
In general, parts 3, 5, and 6 are the most tragic, one could even say heartbreaking and shocking.
