In this thread, I propose we discuss the creatures that have evolved alongside the game, the ones that have been with us throughout the vast universe of Heroes of Might and Magic. Well, since I created this thread, I'll start. Vampires, zombies, skeletons, ghosts, bone dragons – even though not all of them were present in the first installment, I believe they rightfully deserve to be called veterans. Zombies: Part 1: None. Part 2: Zombies, zombie mutants. Part 3: Living dead, zombies. Part 4: Zombies. Part 5: Zombies, plague zombies. Skeletons: Part 1: None. Part 2: Skeletons. Part 3: Skeletons, skeleton warriors. Part 4: Skeletons. Part 5: Skeletons, skeleton archers. Vampires: Part 1: None. Part 2: Vampires, vampire lords. Part 3: Vampires, vampire lords. Part 4: Vampires. Part 5: Vampires, vampire lords. Ghosts: Part 1: Ghosts. Part 2: Ghosts. Part 3: Spirits, ghosts. Part 4: Ghosts. Part 5: Specters, ghosts. Bone Dragons: Part 1: None. Part 2: Bone dragons. Part 3: Bone dragons, ghost dragons. Part 4: Bone dragons. Part 5: Bone dragon, spectral dragons. If you have any opinions, feel free to share them.

No, liches too. I just don't remember if they're in the 4th game.

They aren't there; instead, they added poisonous creatures, and you can upgrade a hero to a Lich (this is a kind of title). I don't remember exactly what skills are needed for this, but I think it's Death + Chaos.

Back then, this list also included Black Dragons, Djinns, Titans, Crusaders (they were slightly renamed in the 5th installment), Cavalry (they were called by so many different names:)), Phoenixes, and... let others add to the list, so that everyone gets some monsters:D

They appeared in parts II, III, and seemingly IV, and they are featured again in HoMMV:ToE.

And the title of the most rapidly improving monster goes to the GNOMES:smile49:

Hydras - if I'm not mistaken, they appear from the first to the fifth installment inclusive!:rolleyes:

Unicorns - parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Cyclops are now in all parts thanks to the ToE add-on... And Gargoyles!

I didn't mention the 5th part. Here, the author of the topic also listed units that are not present in all parts, but 4 out of 5 parts is already a veteran, in my opinion.

I forgot about the **trolls**, also present in the first 4 parts (or will they be in the expansion? I don't remember... :o), the **faeries** (all 5 parts), the **ogres** (all 5 parts, judging by the information about the expansion), and of course, the **griffins** - and I should be ashamed of myself, as they are a symbol of Erathia, a unit-emblem, and an iconic unit for the M&M universe (also in all 5 parts)!

And also Peasants! They are skeletons, after all:D... future ones.

Not quite... They weren't in the 1st and 2nd parts (there were archers, but that's not the same as crossbowmen, you'll agree!:rolleyes:), and there wasn't even anything similar in the 4th.
But archers (if we clarify the name and assume that's what was meant) appeared in 4 out of 5 parts, so they can definitely be considered veterans!:smile14:

Well, in the 1st and 2nd, yes, there were archers, although in essence, it's not a big difference, and in the 4th, there were definitely crossbowmen; I know that for sure:D
So, participation in 3 parts = the title of veteran:)
