Offline Heroes 3 Tournament "Operation 'Capture'"

1. To participate in the offline tournament "Operation 'Capture'", you must register on heroesworld and leave an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes 3 Breath of Death with patch 3.2. Playing on version 4.0 is also permitted

Sequence of actions for participating in the tournament:

1. Download the save.

2. Place the downloaded save on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes 3.

3. Load it and start playing at your convenience (i.e., players fight strictly on the downloaded saves. Restarting the game is prohibited).

4. During the Walkthrough, you must make intermediate saves (at the beginning and end of each day).

5. After completing the final action (which leads to victory), you must save again.

6. A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If any are provided, a contest for the best description will be held; 10 of them (the very best) will take their place of honor in the "Hall of Fame" section!

3. Objective – Capture the city of Truplyandia.
The winner will be the player who completes the objective in the fewest number of days.
If several players have identical Walkthrough times, the best will be determined by the amount of gold (the more, the better).

4. The tournament starts on 21.06.2007 and will last until 11.07.2007 (inclusive until 24:00 Moscow time). Saves will not be accepted after 11.07.2007. Only one final save is accepted from each player.
Results will be published no later than 17.07.2007.

5. The final save should be named according to the template: OZ_TableNumber_playerNick.gm1 (for example, OZ_1_Ataman.gm1) and sent to the email address 1seregas@mail.ru or adebr@mail.ru. Along with the save, you must send a description of the final step (battle for the castle), after which victory occurs.

6. Discussion of the tournament during its progress is PROHIBITED!!!
If the organizer or their assistant finds documented evidence of tournament discussion anywhere on the Internet, they have the right to exclude such player(s) from participating in the tournament.

7. Restrictions:
The use of any cheats and bugs in the final Walkthrough is prohibited
(in case of violation, the result will be annulled). Specifically, the following are prohibited:

1. double casting magic in one game turn
2. using magic in anti-magic garrisons;
3. selling artifacts at inflated prices
4. visiting sirens repeatedly with the same hero.
5. restarting the game, i.e., you can only play from a save
6. using the "dismissal-buyback" trick, i.e., a dismissed Hero cannot be hired on the day of their dismissal.
7. buying heroes killed in battle (not to be confused with those who fled; other players' heroes can be "dug up")
(the last two points are explained as follows:

1. Hiring a dismissed hero on the day of dismissal is prohibited. On any other day – it is allowed.
2. Hiring a fleeing (bought-out) hero on the same day is allowed.
3. Rehiring your own killed hero is prohibited.
4. Hiring a killed enemy hero is allowed at any time.

8. digging up the Grail without a fully opened puzzle-map (If a player digs up the Grail, they must make a save immediately before digging it up and send it to the tournament organizer along with the final one).
9. digging up the Grail in 1 day
10. weakening non-upgraded neutral armies
through multiple defeats, if they contain an upgraded unit.
When attacking a non-upgraded neutral army that contains upgraded units, they must be destroyed during every attack, and additional saves must be made before and after the battle.
(Crypt, Abandoned Ship, Shipwreck, Dragon Utopia, Pyramid, Monster Dwellings, Griffin Conservatory, Serpent Hive, Golem Factory, Conflux, Abandoned Mine, Imp Cache, Dwarf Treasury, Medusa Vault, Cyclops Warehouse, and Naga Bank can be weakened in any case)
11. using navigation bonuses on land.
12. raising undead from summoned elementals.
13. when building a Grail in the Conflux castle, using spells learned by a hero who does not have the required level of the secondary skill Wisdom at the time of visiting this castle, even if the hero later acquires the necessary level of Wisdom (in the latter case, it is necessary to visit the castle where the required spell is available again).
14. using cheat programs, codes, as well as additional software that can change the game structure.
15. using any other errors (bugs).

In case of a week "+5 monsters X" or month "monster X", the player must replay the single transition of the week/month and achieve a neutral result.

8. If a player suspects that their opponent played in violation of the rules, they have the right to contact the tournament organizer and demand that the opponent send the Walkthrough saves. The player who sent such a request must also send their own daily saves to the coordinator.
The result of a player who played unfairly or failed to send their description (saves) on time upon the request of the tournament organizer will be annulled. This will also reflect poorly on their reputation.

9. The use of two "automators" is permitted in the tournament:
1) Hero-digger
2) Ballista-killer

You can. If possible, weaken them.

Even in non-upgraded troops, there's still a stack of upgraded ones... hence the conclusion... it's forbidden... =))). In the rules, it's written... unless you defeat an upgraded stack, then it's allowed. That is, you attack, defeat an upgraded stack, and retreat. Then you attack and kill the non-upgraded ones. But how do you check whether you destroyed the upgraded ones or just attacked and retreated (and the stack disappears anyway)?

How is that possible??

If there is a stack of neutral, grayed-out monsters on the map, you can do whatever you want with it, no problems... However, if the monsters are NOT grayed out, there is a chance that one of the stacks will be grayed out. This stack disappears if you attack these neutrals and flee without doing anything... This is a bug, and the ban only applies to this specific situation.
