Even in version 1.5, I only gave Faidean Chaos spells. And in 3.0, even more so.

And yet, please remember, what artifacts are needed? I took everything I could, including the last one in the tunnel, but the quests still said that no artifacts were found.

The very best, you don't necessarily have to collect them. I don't even know which ones are needed, although I collected them all. Try clicking on the quest with your mouse – maybe it will reveal the entire list.

I still don't understand which artifacts are needed. When I picked up the last one in the tunnel, a message appeared saying that the quest was completed. During my first playthrough, I must have missed something.

I played through it twice because of these artifacts, collected everything I could, but... alas, the quest wasn't completed.

But Faydean had the ability "silent scouting" or something
like that... and he could see in advance whether a group of "neutrals"

And what is the purpose of artifacts in general? Do they carry over to the next mission? If so, then the search will have to start all over again.

None of the artifacts I collected were transferred.
But the mission is awesome. I love playing with a small army. And when I had a hundred and fifty archers, the enemies didn't even reach me.
Damn, I've come to love elves. (But I've completely stopped liking necromancers... they're strong, those bastards...)

No, you can collect the artifacts. I managed to do it once out of three attempts. Most likely, you missed something. Another possibility is that you sold one of the artifacts. In principle, completing the quest is not necessary at all; it's just a way to satisfy your ego.

Elves are indeed very strong. They have some of the best archers in the game. But the strength of the army in this mission is primarily due to Faidaen: he is already very powerful by this mission. With good development, the mission can be completed easily even on "Hero" difficulty (I also completed this mission using tips from "Gugolok"). Perhaps, this is my favorite adventure mission.

Yes, I agree. The mission is very simple. But I can't seem to pass the fifth one. I decided to level up my hero more in the fourth mission. And do these artifacts just give a lot of experience? The task says, "you must try to find these artifacts, as they may help Faidaen in the war against the undead." How can they help if they don't even carry over to the next mission?

Artifacts will only be passed on in "Tribes of the East". Unfortunately, in the original game, you won't find the artifacts accumulated through hard work in previous missions in the following missions. It's just a typical secondary quest, for which you receive some reward. Don't expect anything more.

Is there a way to complete it so that the mission to save Tiera is successful? I mean, so that it isn't considered a failure.
