I disagree. Just because Bush calls himself a genius doesn't make him one, because the phrase "You can call a pot a kettle, but it won't change what it is" still applies.

Sorry for the off-topic, but it's "doesn't kill" us. Otherwise, the meaning of the phrase changes to the opposite.
