1. To participate in the fourth offline Heroes 2 tournament "Mountain King", you must register on our website and also submit an application in this thread.

P.S. This tournament is held as part of the General Cunningham Memorial Tournament, so all information, as well as the conduct and results, will be displayed in this section.



Note: the final results of the tournament will also be available in the offline Heroes 2 tournaments section.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes 2 from Buky. The save will be generated on the Russian version.

3. The goal of the game is to defeat the enemy.
The result will be evaluated primarily based on the shortest time.
If several players have the same completion time, the best will be determined by the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING WORN ARTIFACTS; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.


4. The following are prohibited in the tournaments:

1) buying back your dismissed heroes on the same day (i.e., using the "dismissal-buyback" tactic);
it is also not allowed to buy back heroes who died in battle (do not confuse with those who fled)!

2) using a bought-back hero who fled or was bought back in battle on the day he fled or was bought back. It is allowed to buy such a hero, but he can only be used on the next day;

3) buying heroes of the computer opponent who died or fled;

4) digging up UA without fully opening the puzzle map;

5) Discussion of the tournament during its conduct is PROHIBITED!!!
(Players who violate this rule will automatically be disqualified from playing in the tournament; their results will not be counted and will be annulled).

6) using any cheats and bugs in the "final" playthrough

7) using weeks and months with additional troop increases or plague. If a week "+5 monsters X", a month "monster X" or plague appears, the player must replay the week/month transition and achieve a neutral result. If there are difficulties in obtaining a neutral result, you must immediately notify the judge.

5. The player must save intermediate saves for each game day during the tournament.
Intermediate saves may be requested by the tournament organizer to verify the integrity of the playthrough. If the use of cheat codes is detected, as well as clearly indicated errors and features of the game prohibited for use, the player will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

6. Together with the final save, players must send a description of the tactics of the final battle (the more complex the battle, the more complete).
If the victory depends on the outcome of morale/luck/certain actions of computer players, a complete description of the battle is required - one that can be repeated.

7. Send the final save to the email address g-andrew@mail.ru. The sent save must contain the tournament number (4), the participant number in the application table, the abbreviation (GK - Mountain King) and the player's nickname. Example: 4_1_GK_Alan.gm1.

8. The tournament starts on March 1 and will last until March 31 (inclusive). The results will be announced on April 3, 2007.

9. After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:

save accepted - next to the BOLD NICKNAME
save counted - next to the ITALIC - BOLD NICKNAME

Saves will be accepted only from those players who are in this table, so submit your applications in ADVANCE!!!

I recently realized that participating in a tournament without knowing the intricacies and possibilities of the game can lead to a very low result!! :)
But secondly, I used to play! About 7 years ago. So, please register me for this tournament as well, so I can embarrass myself here too! :D
