Interesting poll. I'll vote for Metal – I see a deep meaning in it. Think of bands like Blind Guardian. It evokes fantasy, and fantasy always leads to heroes. Overall, it's very good music. All the other metal is great too, but if there are more fans, then we can talk about specific genres. For now, I'll just say that I listen to it.

And those who look at my avatar will guess what else I listen to.

I vote for rock, metal, and classical music, and of course, for the music from the Heroes games. I'd also like to mention the unparalleled legendary guitarist from Deep Purple, who not so long ago, at the end of the 20th century, founded the band Blackmore's Night, and I'm a big fan now. The music is a blend of classical music with castle music and Renaissance music. Overall, it's very melodic music that evokes medieval themes, and medieval times also lead to the Heroes games. :)
And I also really love classical music - it calms the mind.

I voted for almost all styles... I only like high-quality music, regardless of the style, because even in pop music, there are sometimes true masterpieces. Hey! I have rock, classical music, HOMM music, and "other genres"! Why isn't punk listed separately? It's not rock or alternative; it's punk!!! In general, I like all sorts of cool avant-garde music! I love rock, and a little bit of alternative, and classical, and folk, and jazz, swing, and blues. Basically, I like different kinds of music. Right now, I'm really into Serge Gainsbourg. I especially love: The Doors, The Bad Seeds (Nick Cave - rules!), The Cure, Nirvana, RHCP, Depeche Mode, The Libertines... I'll end the list here, otherwise I'd have a lot more to write. :D
