Hello. My friends are having a problem with HotA not working (we're playing Heroes 3). Specifically, the launcher doesn't respond when the "Play" button is clicked, and the launcher update also doesn't work. One friend was using Windows 7, and after updating to Windows 10, the game stopped working (I have Windows 10, and everything works; we downloaded from the official HotA website). The second friend has Windows 11. On Windows 11, the game launched and worked perfectly at first, but the next day, the launcher stopped updating, and the "Play" button stopped working.
Here's what we've tried: we've reinstalled the HotA package (game + launcher from the official website) many times, run it as an administrator, manually updated the HotA launcher, changed the game's compatibility settings, "borrowed" files from me (I shared all the game files with my friends), and checked the game settings. If anyone knows anything, please let me know what we can do. I would be very grateful.
