- Removed English cutscenes (they remained in Chronicles 5 and 6 because there is no Russian voice acting in these Chronicles);
- Installed patches for music in 44kHz, launching the game in windowed mode, and a CPU patch for Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete (not the HD mod);
- Added 256x256 icons from the English GOG edition.
Features of the repack:
- Based on the Russian license from Buka;
- Includes all campaigns of Heroes of Might and Magic 3: The Restoration of Erathia, Armageddon's Blade, The Shadow of Death;
- Includes all 8 Chronicles: both as separate maps (new game - campaign - other) and as full versions (installation is optional);
- English cutscenes removed;
- Campaigns of the English-language Chronicles are localized;
- Registry paths are preserved;
- HD mod installation is optional (only for the complete collection, the Chronicles do not support the mod)
- Patches for music in 44 kHz and launching the game in windowed mode (F4 key) are used;
- All parts are completely independent of the disc.
Currently, this text remains on some trackers, but for some reason, apparently, ignorant and indifferent people have mostly replaced it with a certain Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete v4.0 from the GOG store. This does not match the description. (This is common on torrent sites - discrepancies). The distinguishing feature is that everything listed above was included in it, except for the updated wrapper for both Heroes and all the Chronicles, without which these games do not run smoothly with intermittent images. And I can no longer find that repack on the internet. I don't know what else it differs in and which of them is generally better and more useful in terms of the interchangeability of the original content, not counting other things, such as the HD mod, a new version of which can also be found and downloaded for free. Help me find a repack with the wrappers or at least the wrappers themselves with instructions on how to install them.
